When I woke up again I wasn't sure what had happened. There was an IV in my arm, I was in a hospital gown, there was blood. Wendy came in crying. She's my biological mother but I don't call her mom. She sat with me for a while.
The nurse came in and said
"Hon, we need to take you for some tests. I'm gonna give you some sailine now." She put something into the IV and rolled me out the door and down the hall.
The next day, Dad and June showed up. June is my stepmom. Elton wasn't far behind with Lily. When I asked why I was in the hospital there was a huge commotion.
