Sans

Sans lay in his bed, curled up in a tight ball. Everything had been so perfect. His brother had finally got into the Royal Guard, Alphys and Undyne were dating, and all monsters were free. But the human wasn't satisfied, no, they never were. So they reset everything. Fat tears rolled down his bony cheeks, not looking like they were going to stop. The human, it was always the human. They could kill and kill, taking countless lives smiling all the way, but they weren't happy with it. They wanted more. He felt his sleepiness crawling up on him, and gave in to its grasp.

Grillby

Grillby woke up, his fire crackling. He wanted to stay in bed, its covers ever so inviting, but he knew he had to set up his bar. He slid into his usual outfit, tying his bowtie. He was very fast, and the bar was ready in no time. He waited excitedly, saying to himself that is was because he loved his job, but it was really because he couldn't wait for his favorite customer, and although he'd never admit it, crush Sans to arrive. He heard the bell ring, and his gaze shot up, fire glowing brighter as he saw Sans, but it dimmed quickly. Sans didn't look right. He walked, no stumbled, like he had a 100 pound weight on his back. Grillby rushed around the corner to help him, just as he fell. "Oh my god Sans, what's wrong with you !?!?!?". Sans replied with a broken response "I-I hic can't t-take it anymore Grillby hic. I-I'm so alone."  Sans looked at Grillby, a blue blush spreading across his face. Before Grillby could even process what Sans had said, Sans' arms wrapped around him, pulling him in for a kiss. Grillby was shocked, unable to make a coherent thought. So his sub-conscious made one for him. Return the favour. Grillby kissed back, the passion filling the room. Their souls danced in perfect harmony, the emotional dams broken and flooding into this one moment. Grillby wished this moment could last forever, but he needed air, so he reluctantly pulled away. They both looked at  each other, panting for air. Sans smiled and said  "Well that was one hot moment." Grillby chuckled "Good pun Sans." "I know, I'm on fire." Grillby stopped smiling. "That's enough Sans." "Oh come on, my puns bring a spark to this conversation"

"Oh be quiet!" Grillby shouted, shoving Sans to the ground, but Sans reached out, pulling Grillby down with him. They both landed beside each other, laughing. "I love you, Sans." "Me too." For once in a long time, Sans was truly happy.
