Luke's pov
Today is the day that me and this Caleb dude u claims to be Tori's real dad go to court and find out who gets to keep her. I have thought this through a little bit and if the judge says that she is better off with her own family then I think I will cry because I have a love passion for the daughter I ADOPTED with papers right here that state I am her parent now.
(Tori walks down stairs)
"Hey u almost ready hon?" I asked her.
"Yea just give me min to get dressed real fast and then we can leave." She replied.
Tori's pov
So today is the day that I have to decide if I want to stay with Luke or go back to my real dads house where I have should have been in the first. I have been thinking about it a lot lately... "I want to stay with Luke but if it wasn't for this man who took me in the first place I wouldn't be in this situation right now!" I thought to myself.
I walk to down stairs to find dad (Luke) at the kitchen table.
"Hey hon are u almost ready?" He asked me.
"Yea I am just let me get dressed real quick then we can leave." I replied back to him. When I got back up stairs. I went to the closet and I picked out my favorite pair of skinny jeans that fit me just right and a camouflage cut off shirt to wear with it and I put my camouflage hat on and I was ready. I ran down all excited but when I got down stairs Luke was already half way out the door.
"Hey wait up dad!" I yelled for me.
"Well hurry up slow poke!" He said laughing.
When we got in the truck the first thing he did was turn on some country music that we could jam to.
Luke's pov
After about 15 mins of waiting I decided I was just gonna wait in the car for her.
"Hey dad wait up." I heard her yell.
"Well hurry up slow poke!" I yelled back.
When we got in the truck I turned one some country music so we could sing together.
(20 minutes later)
I turned down the radio because I need to talk to Tori about her decision to make sure that she was not going back to her dad.
"Hey hey what are u doing that was a good song!" She yelled at me.
"Now now hold on there missy I have to talk to u about something very important!" I snapped back.
"Well what is it!" She demanded
"Have you made up your mind yet about today." I asked her.
"No not yet why?" She asked
I pulled over to the side of the road.
"Hey hey what are u doing we are gonna be late!" She added.
"Look Tori u know I love you from the bottom of my heart and it would hurt me so much to lose and I am not saying this because I don't want u to do back to "your dad" but it's bc I want to make sure u are gonna make the right decision. Ok?" I said getting all teary eyed.
"Ok dad I love you too" she said getting all teary eyed
Tori's pov
When dad was driving all of a sudden he pulled the truck over the side of the road so I started to yell at him because I didn't want to be late to the court room.
"Look Tori u know i love you and i would hate to lose because you are like daughter to me and i am saying this because i want u to pick me as your dad but because i want u to make right decision. ok?" At first i was like what happen to this i thought this was my decision here but then i started to realize that he is just caring for me.
"Ok, I love you too!" I said back
We continued to drive to the court house and when we got there I saw my dad getting out of his car and then i saw a women get out the car, it was probably just my mom. I wanted to run to them but I knew that Luke wanted me with him.
Caleb's pov
Today is the day where Tori gets to decide if she wants to stay with Luke or come home with her real family. I was nervous but I acted like a man and put on a pair jeans and a nice dress shirt. I went into bathroom and brushed my teeth while Emily was in the shower.
"Hey are u almost ready because I am and I want to get there early so maybe i can see her before this decision thing starts." i said to Em
"Ok i will be out in a min and all I have to do is throw my hair in to a messy bun and throw my clothes on that i have already picked out." she shouted because she thought i couldn't hear her.
30 minutes later...
When we got to the place i was exited but nervous because i didn't know what to expect because she doesn't really know me and Emily, if i was Tori i would probably pick the family i have know the longest. Which in this case would be Luke. Anyway i shook out all my negitive thoughts and i started to walk in to the court room. When I walked in to the court room I was the first one in there and I was a little bit surprised when I didn't see Luke and Tori but not before I walked in they walked and sat as far away as they could from me and Emily.
Luke's pov
When we got to the court room and that dirt bag and his wife ( I as assuming that was his wife) get out of there crusty, dusty, musty car and I started to get fired. I was afraid Tori I was going to go talk to them but she didn't and I was very proud of her for staying with me. When we went into the court room Caleb and Emily were already in there and all situated and I directed Tori to the farthest seat away from them.
(15 min later)
It was almost time for Tori to make her decision and I was nervous.
"Hey so are U ready to do this." I asked her
"Yea I think so." She said ready to break down in tears.
"Hey hey it's ok there darlin' i will respect which ever side u chose. Ok?" I said to her. I think I made her feel a little bit.
The judge came in and started talking about our situation to make sure everything was correct about it. I showed the paper I signed to adopt her.
"Mr. Bryan may I please see the paper that u signed to adopt Miss. Tori." She asked me.
"Yes u may ma'am." He said politely
It took a moment to look it over.
"Ok this looks real and there is Mr. Bryan signature..." she read out loud
"Ok as of right now Mr. Bryan as custody of Tori...but I am still letting Tori chose what family she would rather be with, Sweetie would u come up here and tell us all your decision...." The judge added
