Proposal

Izumi: Welcome back my lovely readers! Actually, do I even have readers anymore? I mean, it has been so long since I actually spent time on this story.

Zibby: We have readers, at least one.

Izumi: That's more than none! Honestly, I'm just in a good mood.

Zibby: I can tell. She doesn't own any of the Naruto characters or the Naruto world. She only own myself, Song, and C.

Izumi: Yup! And on with the story!

Zibby's PoV:

I could not find Song or C anywhere. They weren't in the kitchen, bedroom, or the main room. I had even checked my laboratory where all my scrolls were thrown about the room.

Zibby: Song? C? Where did you two go? Did you guys leave for a break or something?

I teleported into my room in the Akatsuki base and searched in there as well to try finding my two partners. They weren't there however and I was starting to get nervous. 

Zibby: Where are you two? This is not funny, Song. Just come out already.

I searched the entire base for my partners, but still could not find them anywhere. The only other place I could think to search was Akane's estate, but they shouldn't be there since I had not taken them with me the last time. Unless... I teleported out of the base and in front of the estate. I walked in and surprisingly had no trouble finding the servant quarters since I seemed to always end up in this area every time I visited. Standing in front of Zano's room, I knocked on the door.

Zibby: Zano, do you know where Song and C are hiding? I can't seem to find them anywhere at home.

Just my luck, Zano opened the door, smiling down at me with Song wrapped around his neck and C resting on his head. Song gave me a little nod towards Zano who was standing in the doorway.

Zano: Hmm? They have been here the whole time. 

Zibby: Give me back my partners. They are very precious to me.

Song and C both climbed/slithered off of Zano and towards me. I helped them up and held them close to my body, letting my worry fade. Song chuckled a little at my behavior, but did not seem to want to talk just yet. 

C: Sorry, Zibs. We wanted to help you out a bit by gathering some herbs, but we got lost and then Akane found us and...

Zibby: It's alright. Just tell me next time. I don't know what I would do without you two by my side.

I nuzzled my face into C's body as he hugged my face. Song tightened himself around my neck as a way of hugging me and shook his head.

Song: Zibby, what are you going to do without us?

Zano: She'll have me then.

I put C on my head staring at the man in front of me. His words did not connect with my thought process at the moment. He noticed my staring and his smile got bigger. He leaned on the door frame as if the conversation was about to get longer.

Zibby: What do you mean by "I'll have you?" I don't understand.

Song: Zibs, I don't think...

C: You really want to know....

Zibby: No, I think I want to know what he means.

As I was arguing with Song and C, Zano had taken the two steps that was need to pull me into a hug. I froze up slightly, but not completely like usual.
