I sighed heavily.
I turned in the opposite direction and allowed my tears to wet my cheeks.
After what seemed like hours of stiff silence.... Dwane spoke up.
"Ummmm want a cookie?"
I wiped my tear stained face and turned to him with a forced smile.
"No thanks."
With that I got up, and dusted off my dress.
"Take me home please."
He seemed shocked.
"Huh?"
"I said...take me home".
He opened his mouth,probably to protest, but instead he closed it, grabbed the stuff and made his way angrily to the car.
I honestly didn't give a shit.
He had no right to be angry.
After placing the stuff in the trunk, he got into the car.
I followed suit but unlike the first time we rode together, this time I sat in the backseat.
He didn't bother asking why or whatnot...
The moment we were both seated....he took off..speading down the road like the maniac he was.
My stomach made knots.
I was frightened to death as he kept speading through cars.
In less than 20 minutes,a very tearful sick upset cher was in her packing lot.
I got out the car and tumbled to the ground,throwing out the day's contents.
Yep....I puked.
The bile burned my throat as tears streamed down my cheeks.
I got up and turned to the car.
No surprise... Dwane was seated comfortably inside his vehicle looking so perfect while not giving a shit.
I sighed and walked into my house.
Shortly after...the sound of screeching tires were heard.
He was gone.
I went to my room and lay on my bed.
And for the second time in one week....Dwane had been the primary cause of me crying myself to sleep.
