Chapter 18

ANDY'S P.O.V.

After half an hour talking and doing stupid things we decided to watch a movie. We went downstairs to the living room.

While Iris was making pop corns, I was searching for a good film between the amount of CDs she had. I was sat on the floor with the cds around me when she came with the pop corns.

– Andy, didn't you find anything that you like yet? – she asked when I raised my head.

– Not yet – I said, looking again through the CDs. She sat next to me and caught one from behind the pile I was looking at. It was Batman.

– I'm sure you would like to see it, right? – she smiled, so not fair. I smiled back, standing up and sitting down on the couch. She did the same after turning on the CD player, leaning her head on my shoulder.

I think I love her even more after showing me that she had that film.

 

IRIS'S P.O.V.

The film ended and we decided to go out and have dinner. Andy mentioned that he wanted tacos so we went to a Mexican restaurant. We were waiting for the waitress to come, just talking.

– Who's going with us on tour? – I really didn't know too much about the details of the tour.

– Hmmm... – he put his index finger on his chin, thinking – that Falling in Reverse, D.R.U.G.S. and Snow White's Poison Bite – I nodded, this was gonna be really interesting in the end.

– Who are Snow White's Poison Bite? – I questioned. The name was familiar to me but I didn't remember.

– They are a recent group, but I think they are good, you'll see them tomorrow I guess – he smiled, interlacing his fingers with mine.

The waitress came and took our order, giving me a death glare just because I was with Andy.

I know I'm lucky, so I just smiled at her.

– What was that? – he asked, laughing slightly and then taking a bite of his taco.

– She started – I said like a little girl.

– Don't worry, I'm all yours – he smiled, and I melted inside.

– Same to you – I said, winking.

As we hadn't taken the car, we walked back to my house, enjoying the dark sky and the peace of the night.

Andy put his arm around my shoulders and I put mine around his waist. The night was warm, so it was perfect for a walk.

My watch indicated it was 22:45 when we went back home.

– Are you going to stay here tonight? – I asked, turning around so I could see him. He looked at me a little bit surprised.

– Can I stay with you? – he raised an eyebrow, coming closer.

– Of course you can, but just to sleep – I laughed, sticking out my tongue.

– Okay, I don't promise anything but... – he smiled. So difficult to resist, but I guess I'd have to try. I smacked his shoulder playfully.

– You should call the guys so they won't worry about you – I said. He nodded and took out of his pocket his phone.

ANDY'S P.O.V.

– You should call the guys so they won't worry about you – she said. I nodded and took out of my pocket my phone. I didn't think about the guys till she said it. Good one.

I decided to call CC because if there was anyone awake it is CC. I hadn't seen in my fucking life anyone with more energy than him.

In the end it was Ashley who answered the phone.

– Yes? – he said even when my number was surely on the phone screen.

– Hey, I'm Andy – I said a bit serious, I had to recognize it.

– What's up? – he said in a casual way, so I decided to forget about my stupid paranoias.

– Why did you answer CC's mobile phone? – I asked.

– He felt asleep after a big halo war, I guess after a party he doesn't have so much energy as always – CC sleeping before anyone, that was weird. Very weird.

– Well, I just call to say that I'm staying at Iris's tonight so don't wait for me – there was a silence and then he talked again, in a slightly different tone.

– Okay, see you tomorrow at 6 o'clock – And then he hanged up. Such a weird moment.

While I was talking, Iris said to me that she was going upstairs, so I went to her bedroom and knocked on the door before coming in, just in case she was taking off her clothes.

– You can come in Andy, I was just changing into my pajamas – she said with her angel voice. I came in. She was sat on her bed, legs crossed. Her pajamas t-shirt was black and the pants were black with white stripes, nice.

ASHLEY'S P.O.V.

After CC fell asleep, I turned off the XBOX. It wasn't fun to play alone. His mobile phone rang so I answered it.

– Yes? – I didn't look at the screen so I had no idea who I was talking to.

– Hey, I'm Andy – he said, he was serious. Fuck. I didn't want to have an argument with him.

– What's up? – I said in a normal tone waiting to see if I could fix anything I've done to make him feel angry.

– Why did you answer CC's phone? – he asked.

– He fell asleep after a big halo war, I guess after a party he doesn't have so much energy as always – even if it was a weird thing, it was true.

– Well, I just call to say I'm staying at Iris's tonight so don't wait for me – I didn't say anything for a moment and then talked again, in a slightly different tone.

– Okay, see you tomorrow at 6 o'clock – And then I hanged up.
