Knock knock...are you guys still alive?
You probably want me dead so I'll just leave you to the next chapter and a long a** author's note in the end. Enjoy!
**********************************I still don't understand how they put me up to it but my so-called friends and little sister crawled their ways into my mind and convinced me to have a girls night out to celebrate the fact that me, "the happy bride" as Cora sarcastically put it, is getting married in two days.
I didn't want to go, but Cora's endless begging made me change my mind just because I didn't need a headache. So I sucked it up and realized that I need to let go for one night and have fun, as an unhappy bride to be or just a girl having a crazy Saturday night with her friends.
This explains the speeding red Bently that is packed with four women singing at the top of their lungs and a bodyguard who's about to jump out of the car.
I live for the applause, applause, applause
I live for the applause-plause
Live for the applause-plause
Live for the way that you cheer and scream for me."C'mon Lincoln you old man, sing with us!" Thea shouted over the music. Lincoln shook his head and smiled softly at this as me and the girls continued to sing.
Dancing in my seat, shaking my head to the side with my hair flying with me and my arms moving everywhere. I was having a great night so far.
Give me that thing that I love.
I'll turn the lights out
Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch. Make it real loud.
Give me that thing that I love. I'll turn the lights out.
Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch. Make it real loud."Can you go a bit faster Linco!
We wanna arrive before all the hot men leave" Cora poked Lincoln's shoulder and I tried to stifle a laugh at the sight of his face when she called him Linco. She's been calling him that since forever now.Looking at Lincoln from the passenger side and then looking back at the girls.
Damn
They all look drop dead gorgeous.
In the middle sits Cora dressed in a black mesh and long sleeved bodycon dress that looks like it's painted to her body. Although the shoes she's wearing probably belong to a museum not to actual human feet but she's still able to pull off the look, effortlessly.
On her right side, Thea is wearing a simple yet sexy violet strap and bandage dress while her hair is styled in a perfect ponytail.
On Cora's other side sits our friend Kris, all she knows is that I come from a rich family and that I simply chose to depend on myself and take charge of my own life so I took space from them. At least some space anyway, if we're gonna ignore the bodyguards and fancy cars.
Kris is wearing a dark blue spaghetti strap jumpsuit that bring out her cerulean cat eyes.
"You ladies look hot." I whistle.
"Don't they?" Turning to Lincoln and wiggling my eyebrows.Lincoln coughs uncomfortably before replying. "Yes all of you girls tonight will absolutely turn heads."
He then looks at me and says
"You look very nice yourself Addilyn." Which earns him a soft smile and an air kiss.I wasn't planning on getting all dressed up but Cora told me that I either look "Fuckable" or she throws me over the balcony.
So after an hour of trying to decide what to wear I pulled on an extremely tight and high waisted burgundy skirt that reaches the middle of my thighs with a slit on the right side. Pairing the tight skirt with a black spaghetti strap cropped top with a plunging neckline that reveals a good amount of cleavage. I finished the outfit with a pair of black open toed heel boots.
