Ethan | For Amy

"What if they don't like me?" Ethan says, his voice laced with worry. "They will love you" you say reassuring Ethan with a kiss as you both leave your shared apartment and head for the car. The drive to your parents house consisted of Ethan asking many questions about your family while you just keep reassuring him as well as the sudden out bursts of singing along to your favourite songs.

You guys finally get there and walk up to the door. "Oh I forgot to tell you, don't look my dad in the eyes it really pisses him off, don't talk in the same tone too much or he will hate you and if you have the wrong breathing pattern he will cut your nuts off" you sweetly say watching the worry wash over his face as he tries to digest what you just said. Oh god he was so nervous. "Babe I was just joking they will love you" you say rubbing his arm to calm him then giving him a short sweet kiss on the lips.
*ding dong* you press the door bell and await the family.
So far so good your dad had jokingly threatened and messed around with Ethan three times to start and Ethan still had his nuts attached and everyone really seemed to take a shine to him.
Dinner was so delicious and you could see that everyone was finished and just conversing with small talk so you decide to wash the dishes like a good daughter... And to give Ethan some alone time with your mum, dad and two brothers. "I'll wash the dishes" you state as you get up and go round collecting the plates. "Ohhh Amy's doing the dishes you see that. Ethan really has made quite the impression on her" you hear your mother say to everyone as you are cleaning the dishes You felt two arms snake around your waist and light kisses up along your neck. "Want any help?" He asks in his same position. "Nah it's fine. I only offered to do it to give you and the fam some privacy" you say with a small smirk "ok well if you don't want help you can help me and point me in the direction of your toilet" "down the hall to your left" you say answering his question and kept washing. UGH GOD you hate washing up sooooooo boring.
You finally finished and you slowly walk out to the room where your two brothers are in deep conversation with Ethan. You sneakily stand near the door to try and listen to what they are saying.
"Listen here mate we like you... So far" you hear Mathew your oldest brother start "and we don't want to hurt you but if you break her heart we will be after you" he lightly threatens "from what we can see you make her really really happy" Ryan your second oldest brother continues 'oh I love Ethan. I honestly feel like the luckiest girl' you think to yourself. "Amy is our younger sister so we need to make sure nothing happens to her again... Especially after Rodger" Ryan says "Rodger? Who is he? What did he do to Amy?!" Ethan said looking intensely at Ryan 'oh no oh god they brought up that douche bag Rodger. No no no' you panic to yourself "she never told you about him oh he is-" Ryan goes to finish before you rush out "HEYYY GUYS! What are we talking about here" you try and play cool like you weren't just listening to what they were just saying. "Well we were actually telling Ethan about-" Mathew goes to share 'god damn it Mathew stop' you are thinking to yourself "SO HOW ABOUT SOME DESERT! I think it's time for that let's go everyone" you say moving everyone to the kitchen.
As the day continues you find yourself talking with your brothers in the lounge whilst Ethan is conversing with your mum and dad in the kitchen.

Ethans POV

"You make her so happy you know that. She really does deserve someone like you who will treat her" Amys mum says to you "she makes me really happy and I love her so much. She is my other half and I really couldn't bare to not be with her" you say to amys parents telling them about how much she means to you.

Your POV

So you think it's time to leave. You go to get your man and say your goodbyes. When you guys get home it is pretty late so you both decide to hit the hay and go to bed. Before you were asleep you heard Ethan ask "who is Rodger and what did he do to you" " he is just my ex- boyfriend.... He was just very tempered and uhh physical" you say lowering your voice "Amy" Ethan starts "I will never hurt you and I promise to always love you with all my heart. So that's why I got you this the other day" Ethan finishes and gets out of bed to get something out of his bed side table. "Haha what are you doing you weirdo" you joke around. "It's a promise ring" he says sliding the ring on your finger "ohhhhh Ethan I love you so much. I'm so glad I met you" "I love you too Amy".
