We can never choose where we came from
but we can control where our lives head to
Every tomorrow is a chance for us
to correct our errs in the past
or nourish the rights that we did
So don't ever lose hope
Smile in the face of desistance
Laugh in the face of fear
Live so that you may see
that life is all about trying
The reason why there's so many colours
is for us to paint the world with our emotion
Paint it red when you are happy
Paint it blue when you are sad
Let the world feel your pain and your laughs
I will never tell you
that everything's going to be alright
For I will not lie to you about this life
It is cruel, unforgiving and dark
But your decisions will shine the light
We can never choose where we came from
but we choose the life we lead
We choose when to give up
We choose when to give in
We choose our life as the rest follow our lead
