It was a hot Tuesday summer day and everyone was outside. Families were in the Parks with their children, girls were with their girls soaking the heat of the sun flirting. Guys as usual looking for their next prey like wild dogs and cops watching every move. Crime rate is still high here in New York City but people are still going about their business like it's nothing, you know normal New Yorkers. The hustlers trying to get their hustle on because it's all about the money in New York City.
My name is John, pretty much a nerd that usually just keep things to myself. I look at the world in a different view at times, I like to study things more and get to the bottom of things. A nerd with lots of time in his hands and no girlfriend Lol loner most of the time but happy with life. Waiting for the opportunity to be a hero or do something with my life that will mean something to someone or turn my life more interesting.
Yes I have friends, cool people who like to have fun. No they are not loners like me, they are actually pretty wild to be honest. They party a lot and do lots of dumb things which I always enjoy watching and participating at times.

I am not gonna lie they are usually pretty attractive, I always wonder what's like to have a hot girl like that someday. But you know usually hot girls don't go for nerds so I just day dream and keep on moving.

I sit for a second to enjoy the beauty and relax because I've been walking for quite a while. When slowly i close my eyes to relax and suddenly I have a weird vision. I saw the sky turn dark out of nowhere and fire all over the place. Buildings burning and it was just horrific and the smell was horrible .
Cars burning, buildings destroyed and the once great city desolated. It all happened quickly like nobody expected it and Boom!!!! A big flash and the fire spread. I was standing there looking at this horrific site but ready to survive regardless the outcome of the terrible situation...
