Samantha walks outside an hour later. She slowly takes in the world that she thought she knew. She sat in front of her old house and wept again. Most of the houses were burnt. Some were completely destroyed.
There was a movement in the distance. Samantha looked up to see what it was. She saw a pale figure across the street.
She gets up and walks over. "Hello? Who are you? What happened to the world?" The figure looks over.
It was pale with blue eyes. Blood dribbled from its lips and its lips grew pitch black. Samantha screams and runs back inside for it was a demon.
"Back you beast!" Came a voice from down the road. A somewhat normal person walks down the road with a rock in his hand. "Back. Stay away from her. You ate enough today."
Samantha stares at the stranger with the rock. The demon runs off and disappeared.
"You okay?" Asked the stranger.
"Yeah." Samantha replies. "Who are you?"
"Bailey Wilson."
