Skyler's pov
I was walking around like usual wondering into all of the rooms of my house 'bang!' I walked towards the noise quietly looking over the banner to see a bunch of people walk in with a stereo, cups and plenty of alcohol. I mental groaned knowing that a party was about to happen I wish I could kick them all out but that imposable I had to make sure no one seen me so I walked up to the attic walking around seeing a picture of myself.
I stopped to look at a portrait of a petite girl with a pale heart shaped face and long brunet hair but the thing that was most off about her would be her light grey eye's that had a silver touch to them. I walked further on and seen a page of my diary open saying
1854 Monday 18 June.
Today was a sad day father came back drunken from whiskey but he did not come home alone this time. I have feared the day that would happen but I was heading into my bedroom when he asked a maid to summon me. I went down and asked him why did he summon me he then asked the woman next to him did she want to she something funny she told him yes. Before I knew it I was on the floor from the punch he gave me then he carved the words disappointment then freak onto my stomach.....
I looked away unable to read the rest but could feel the tears running down my cheek. I put my hand to my stomach being able to feel the scares on my stomach I never understood why he did that but the next day at super I seen him but he wouldn't stop looking at me but know I realize why because my corset was making the slices on my stomach harder to bear he never said anything about it.
I walked over to the chair and sat down when the loud music started playing but some how I had started crying and for the first time ever I didnt care.
