Blue

Blue is the deepest oceans and the summer sky

Blue is the sound of waves crashing on a white beach

Blue is the touch of the cool pool water on a hot day in July

Blue is the smell of rain fresh on the earth

Blue is the taste of cotton-like sugar

Blue is the feeling you get after you've thought of something dreadful

Blue is being in a warm bed in comfy clothes when it's raining outside your window

Black

Red is the image you see in your head as the thoughts flood in

Red is all you see once your fingers touch the razor

Red is the color of the droplets that begin to form

Red is the drops of blood that have leaked into your bathroom sink

Red is the streaks that cover your wrists and thighs

Red is what you see when you look into the mirror at the cut up, teary-eyed girl

Red is the color of the cloth you used to clean up

Red is the tip of the razor 

Red is all you can see when you are lying on the bathroom floor crying and screaming

Red is the water in the shower you take once you've finished

Red is the regret you feel when you lie in bed at night

Red is the shame you feel when eyes follow your scars as you walk down the beach

Red is all people see when they look at you once you have told them what you've done

Red is the surprised look you see on people's faces when they accidentally find out

Red is what happens to you when people pass it off as wanting attention

Red is how you are suddenly treated like a piece of glass once someone knows

Red is how regardless of how people now baby you, nothing has changed

Red is the color of your happy little pills

BLACK is the emptiness you now feel
