Arizona's POV:
Beep beep beep beep
Ugh what is that noise, Arizona thought as she woke up to the sound of her pager going off. 911 this better be good, she thought as she read the message on her pager. She gets ready in record time and collects her bag and car keys along with a nice hot cup of coffee to start her day. She gets in her car and drives to the hospital in about 10 minutes. She takes 5 minutes to go to the attendings locker room to change into scrubs. After she changes she heads down to the ER to see what the emergency page was about. When she arrives to the ER she asks a nurse who paged, at that time her ex-wifes girlfriend walks up to her. Great just what I need to start my day pretty perfect penny. Arizona liked penny but she didn't need to be reminded of her ex-wife this early in the morning. "Dr.Robbins?" Penny asked walking up to Arizona.

"Yes Dr.Blake?" Arizona responded after being startled from her thoughts.

"I paged you, 25 year old female, 35 weeks pregnant, brought in after passing out, I noticed that she has high blood pressure, and she has been complaining of a headache. She is on trauma room one when you are ready." Penny said as she presented the case

"Thank you Dr.Blake, are you on my service today?"

"Yes."

"Okay, start her on medication to lower her blood pressure and then run basic tests, page me when they come in." Arizona told Penny before she walked away. She took the elevator to the daycare to see of Sofia was there so she could spend time with her daughter before her day started. When she arrived she saw a sight that melted her heart and made her smile the biggest smile that she has had in a couple weeks. She saw Callie holding Sofia and tickling her while Sofia thrashed around and giggled. Arizona wished that she could watch this for the rest of her life . About that time the daycare door opened which pulled Arizona from her thoughts. "Hey" Callie said

"Hey, I just wanted to see Sofia while I was waiting for Penny to page me about a paitent."

"Oh yeah, sure, so Penny is on your service this week?" Callie responded

"Yeah, that's what she told me, well I'll see you later." Arizona said as she walked in the daycare leaving a confused Callie by the door. Well glad that's awkward conversation is over, wait when did we start being awkward! Arizona thought as she walked over to where Sofia was sitting with Zola Shephard drawing a picture. "Hey baby girl, what are you drawing?" Arizona asked Sofia

"Mama!!" Sofia exclaimed while running into Arizona's awaiting arms.

"Hey, munchkin I missed you!" She said as she released Sofia from the hug

"Just drawing mama."

"What are you drawing?" Arizona asked while looking at the piece of paper on the table that had 3 stick figures on it.

"Well, I'm drawing our family." Sofia responded

"Oh really, who is who?"

"This is you, this is mommy, and the smallest one is me." Sofia explained as she pointed to the figures in order

"That is really good Sofia." Arizona said with tears in her eyes as the emotion of emptiness hit her like a ton of bricks when she realized that she couldn't have that family in the picture anymore. Right as Sofia was going to respond blaring of Arizona's pager pierced the air. After saying goodbye and wiping her tears, Arizona walked to the ER to see the lab results of her pregnant patient. When she got to the trauma room Penny handed her the lab results which showed high blood pressure, and high levels of protein in the urine. After doing a physical exam and seeing swelling in the patients ankles, Arizona decided to tell the patient the diagnosis. "Ms . Stewart" Arizona addressed the patient after looking at her chart and finding her name, "It looks like you have preeclampsia, it can be relatively dangerous and Dr.Blake and myself will do everything to keep you and your baby safe. Starting with admitting you to the hospital, after that we will start you on medication to lower your blood pressure, and I would like to start the baby on steroids to help strengthen it's lungs just as a precaution." Arizona explained

"He, it's a boy, and as a precaution for what?" Ms . Stewart asked

"Well in many cases of preeclampsia we end up having to deliver the baby early, but don't worry, you are far enough in your pregnancy ms.stewart that your baby should be fine if it comes to having to deliver him."

"Please call me sherry, but how do you know, I mean he is supposed to stay in there for 5 more weeks, he's not ready!" Sherry exclaimed, at this point her blood pressure spike to highly dangerous levels

"Sherry I need you to calm down, you are making it worse for your baby!" Arizona said over the beeping of the monitors

"How do you know, how do you know that he will be okay!" Sherry yelled

"Sherry if you calm down I will tell you, now take deep breaths with me."

After sherry breathed deeply for several minutes she asked Arizona, "so how do you know?"

"Well I'm don't know for sure, but your son has a very good shot compared to most babies, actually I said that because I have a daughter named Sofia and she was born at 23 weeks after we were in a car accident, and now she is 4 years old and perfectly healthy, so yeah your son has a good chance at making it out of this alive and perfectly healthy, as well as yourself ok. But in order for that to happen we have to take precautions and you have to stay calm okay?" Arizona asked

"Okay, thank you Dr.Robbins."

"No problem now, Dr.Blake is going to take care of everything that I told you about." Arizona said as she directed the last part of her sentence to penny who stood in the back of the room during the while exchange.

"Okay Dr.Robbins I will take care of it." Penny responded

"Thank you Dr.Blake, now sherry I will be back to check on you once you get settled in and if you need anything have Dr.Blake of one of the nurses page me." Arizona said as she walked out of the room.
