practicing was a lot of work, especially if you've been doing it for a couple hours straight.
i just couldn't get the steps right. they were either too sloppy or not in the right position. but i was determined to get it perfect.
my hair was damp with sweat and my heart was pounding wildly in my chest. my breathing was heavy and my head was dizzy.
but i had finally nailed the routine.
i smiled to myself in satisfaction.
just as i was about to start dancing again, there was a knock on the door. it was jin.
"hey jimin, i was just checking up on you. it's getting late and you're not back yet. have you eaten?"
"uhh i was just about to head back actually," i lied.
"oh i'll drive you."
"i'm actually going to practice a bit more."
"i'll wait."
i sighed, knowing there was no other way i could convince jin to leave.
he watched me as i practiced.
"good job," jin gave a satisfied nod. "you're improving."
i gave him a small smile, showing that i appreciate his encouragement.
