All I heard was heavy rain drops falling on my car as I waited for the red light too turn green. It was late and I had just got off work. All I wanted to do was go home cook a hot pocket in the microwave then go to bed because I was exhausted. I've been working many long hour days for weeks to gain a promotion that I really needed. I tighten my grip on the string wheel "I'd probably already have if Abby hadn't-."

My thoughts where interrupted when my phone rang out a loud ding. I took my eyes off the street light and looked over at my phone that was in the cup holder. I looked back up at the street light and saw that it was still red, how long is this light going to stay red? I'm literally the only one here.

Deciding to check my phone I scanned the area for any signs of cops and then picked up my phone and read the notification. It was only an amber alert, I checked the light again but it was still red. I went ahead unlocked my phone to read the full details.

"Kidnapper on run if you see a black mustang with a blue dragon painted on it with plate number ATY856. If you see this vehicle, please call the cops right away. With the blue dragon it might not be too hard to find the car. Then again it's a black vehicle and it's pretty dark out so maybe not." I put my phone back in the cup holder and stare at the still red light very aware that I was talking to myself.

"Is this light broken or what?" I said getting annoyed. I waited for another minute and when it still didn't change I let out a frustrated groan "forget it, I'm just going to go."

I looked around to make sure there was no cars then I started to pull out. But not soon after a black mustang zoomed past me from behind and I saw a blue blur right before I slammed on the breaks. "Jack Ass!" I yelled as I felt my heart racing.

A little closer and he really would have hit me and I could have got seriously injured at the speed he was going. I rubbed my forehead allowing my heart rate to go back tomorrow and allow myself to calm down. I thought about the car and the blue blur, what was that?

My eyes widen, wait a minute that blue blur it couldn't have been a dragon shape could it? No I was just seeing things since I was scared out of my mind. I stared at the empty road for a second and listening to the rain, I thought back to the amber alert.

"SHIT!" I yelled before pushing the gas petal and zoomed down the road.

I grabbed my phone and not daring to look down while going the speed I was and pushed 3 buttons hopping it was right. "Hello 911 what is your emergency?" some male voice answered.

"Oh thank god, my name is Emma. I am calling about the amber alert, I think I found the car."

"You saw the plate number ATY856?"

"No he was driving way to fast to see it but I did see a blue blur that could have been the dragon."

"Ma'am this is not a joke we are trying to find a kid please don't call us about things you're seeing things because your drunk."

"I am not drunk! I just got off work and was on my way home when this black mustang speed past me with great speed and I saw something blue on the side, it could be the kidnapper."

"Okay, where's your location now Ma'am?"

"I'm on route 56, I think we're heading towards the Murat dam."

"Okay we are sending someone that way now and don't follow him anymore. He is dangerous and you could get hurt, we professionals will handle it. Thanks for calling us."

I hung up after that but instead of slowing down and turning around I speed up some more.

Professionals my ass I'm not going to leave when I know they probably aren't even sending someone over after how he treated me on the phone at the beginning. A few minutes later I started to see a vehicle up head that was swerving all over the road.

Is he drunk? I thought to myself as I started to slow down some so I could still see him but stay a safe distance from him. He really could reck into something and kill both of them easily. I tighten my grip on the stirring wheel after thinking about the possibility.

Hang in there kid help is on the way, I promise you will get out of this okay.

I drove for about another half hour and the car didn't show any signs in stopping. I sighed "still no signs of the cops either, I swear those people are good for nothing."

I glanced down at my speed monitor and I saw that I was going 85mph on a 45mph street. I was starting to be thankful for it being the summer time and not snowing out or I would of crashed by now. Also it was about midnight so there weren't other cars driving around.

I was starting to get a little anxious because little ways was the dam and the guy didn't show any signs of slowing down or turning. I haven't been this way since my eighth birthday.

I sighed, all I wanted was a freaking hot pocket and to go to bed. I swear once this guy is captured I'm going to kick his ass for disturbing my evening. I looked at the next sign and it read Murat Dam next right. I felt myself shiver, I really hate this place.

"He's got to start slowing down to take make the turn up ahead" I said to myself as I started to slow my car down. However, the mustang kept going full speed and I felt my stomach dropped, he isn't so drunk he would run his car into the dam is he?

No he's just going to drive on the road that runs beside the dam. Even though I told myself that it didn't put me at ease and I start to speed up a little again. Come on just run out of gas or stop already!

The mustang all of a sudden made a sharp turn last second to my biggest relief. I continued to follow him and knew there was a right that would take us back to the intersection.  But when the turn to go right came not soon after instead of turning he went left. And I watch in horror as he drove into the river.
