Ladybug's POV
-Time skip-
(Sorry if you hate me... I just really don't know what to write for da injury thingy!")
I sat up in the hospital bed, feeling the healing bandaged wound in my side. Alya had ended up convincing me... after a week, to go into surgery and see what was destroying my side. The sleep medicine had worn off and I was awake, I was going home today.
"Miss?" The nurse walked into my room and headed over to me. "We have the object that was inside of you, would you like to see it?"
I looked at the nurse and noded, watching her pull up a picture on the screen, showing the x ray pictures that had been taken when I was unconscious. I gasped, looking in shock at the screen.
"So it was hawkmoths doing!" I hissed, the nurse turned her head to me, looking questioningly at my statement. I turned away and looked back to the screen, it showed a small purple butterfly burrowing into my side.
"Its out right?" I asked worriedly.
"Of course, it's in the lab for experiment." she replied nonchalantly.
"No!" I exclaimed, "keep it away from all human contact."
The nurse looked at me worriedly, "Ring the bell if you need anything." She stated, "I have to go now."
I lay back down and looked at the ceiling, watching as a little red and black spotted creature flew into my view.
"Tikki!" I exclaimed happily as she hugged my cheek.
"Marinette! I'm so glad you're ok!" Tikki's high pitched voice replied.
"Me too." I sighed, thinking about the loose akuma. "We've got to get to that akuma before it's too late."
"Yeah... you should tell Chat." Tikki said.
I reached for my phone and turned it on, pulling up Adrien's text.
Mari: I need to tell you something!
I set my phone down on the bedside table, hearing it vibrate a few seconds later.
Adrien: Your awake!
Mari: Yeah... we have a major problem
Adrien: See you in five
I set my phone back down, closing my eyes and falling asleep.
Chat Noir's POV
I walked down the hospital hall, looking for room number 213. The plain grey door came into view and I opened it hurrying over to Mari's side. She was sleeping peacefully but woke up as the door closed behind me.
"Hey." She smiled tiredly.
"You can go back to sleep, it's ok." I smiled back, sitting down the the chair by the bed.
"No..." Her eyes clouded over, "I need to tell you something."
I looked at her worriedly, whatever it was it wasn't good. "Okay... what?"
"T-there..." She paused, "It was an akuma."
I looked at her confused, trying to figure out what she meant. "Wha-? Oh." I closed my eyes as I realized what she meant.
"And... Its loose."
My eyes snapped open as I realized what she had said. "W-what do you mean?" I exclaimed in worry.
"I mean, they didn't realize what is was and they took it, they don't realize that is will akumatize one of them, soon." She paused, "If it hasn't already."
"We need to transform." I said, then glanced back to Mari. "You can't."
"I can!" She argued.
"No... You'll reopen your wound." I replied, "I'll capture it, and bring it back for you to purify.
"No! I'll just walk down there and ask them for the butterfly... as ladybug of course."
"Fine." I sighed, already knowing this would be a bad idea.
There, not too short. Hopefully that'll make up for not posting for a while, and at least I got out of the story block I was in.
