He was hidden in the bushes. Any moment now, she would be walking by with her dog. Charles had been watching her for some time now. She arrived home every night about 7:00 pm. She would fix a light dinner and be out the door with her dog, Zale. A branch was into his back. The itch was almost unbearable, but he didn't move a muscle, Charles had been watching and waiting for this moment a long time. The chase was always the exciting part. He loved the look of fear on their faces when they realized their was nothing else they could do.
Her soft voiced called out to Zale.
"Stop messing around Zale! I'm tired tonight. Do your business so we can get back to the house," she said.
As soon as she passed the bushes, he jumped out and was behind her within seconds. She dropped the leash and tried to defend herself, but he was much stronger. What did he put on her face? The odor was strong and she could feel her body losing conscious. Then all was black.

Hours later, she began to blink and cough. Her throat felt dry; her eyes adjusting to the darkness. Where was she? She tried to move but her legs felt like lead. Everything felt fuzzy and confusing. Why was she here? It came back to her suddenly. The man behind her. She remembered struggling. What did he want? She began to create sobs. "Well, you finally decided to join us!" The boy said. "We needed one more to complete our party! You are so beautiful! I just knew they would be happy for you to join us!"==================================================
