Dr.George Smith IV
Chapter 1
Menacing storm clouds were beginning to join, casting a dark grey blanket across the English sky, the cries of sea gulls echoed through the wind. The year was 2298 and there on a cliff in the darkness stood a small cottage it was 100meters from any other houses or life form of any sort.
The name of who lived in that cottage is unknown but some people think his name was Dr.George Smith IV.His father, John .R. Smith was renounced for creating a weapon of mass destruction which brought world peace but sadly after his death an out burst of insults between France and Germany lead to series of assassinations, bombs and in the end the inevitable war. George like his father was a scientist, all his life he has aimed to bring world once more and win the Noble Peace Prize but it's easier said then done. After years of searching and unsuccessful experiments he had the perfect material uranium. Now it was just a matter of getting his hands on it.
The nearest place where he knew had uranium was the nuclear power station that was around 5miles from his cottage.
George had a small physique so it was going to be very difficult for him to scale the perimeter let alone slip pass security, that's right he was going to have to break in and steal the uranium!
George was about 1.6 meters tall and had short black hair that was stuck flat on his head and always looked like it was wet. Whenever he left the house he always wore his black leather some people believed he has had it all his life. But when he was his house he wore his rather large lab coat, which when he wore it looked like a sack.
Chapter 2
It was a cold, dark, quiet night and it felt like a pack of wolfs was ripping at his face. There he stood looking up at one of the gargantuan cooling towers. He slipped his ruck sack off his shoulder to view the content. He pulled out a grappling hook and a pair of magnetic gloves.
There were so many guards on patrol and video cameras to catch his every move, he would have to fly over the fence and climb over the top of the cooling towers to be out of sight. He knew that as soon as he was over than fence he could go to prison, but that was a risk that he was going to have to take. He waited until the guards were changing shifts, then he took aim and shot the hook to the top of the cooling tower. He tugged it to make shore it was secure and pulled the lever and up he went. He was going up and forward, forward towards the fence, he looked across and saw a sign saying that its an electric fence.
He started to swing back and forward, so that he could swing himself over the fence. He carried on swinging as the distance between him and the fence decreased. It didn't look like he was going to make it, but he pulled his legs up, closed his eyes and swung one last time.
He opened them to find he had cleared the fence and was on his way up to the top of the cooling tower. He put on his magnetic gloves and reached the top but all the steam from the tower thickened the air making it had to breath or see. He would have to do it with out looking, he detached himself from the hook and used the gloves to climb his way around the rim. When he was at the other side he was planing to jump on one of the wires from the transformer and slide onto the roof of the generator getting himself closer to the office where the uranium was kept.
But it was easier planned than done, as he couldn't see he would have to guess when to jump. This point felt about right he through himself off the top hoping he would grab one of the wire. As he fell he felt some thing stab his stomach it was one of the wires he tried to grab it but it was too late it swotted him from the sky like a fly.
Chapter 3
Suddenly he felt a shock of pain travel through his body and it felt like him was on fire, he lay paralysed for a second, then as his eyes adjusted he saw a door 5meters up the wall from where he was laying. From looking at his surroundings he quickly pieced together that he was lying on cooling water condenser and that door led to the office. He sat up and there was a sudden fiery pain. He checked to see where it was coming from but as he looked at his right arm he saw that it was bend at a strange angle, it was broken. He stood up and climbed the ladder leading to the door with one arm. As he reached the door he found out it was locked. He used the magnetic gloves to move the bolt, unlocking the door.
