A Promise to be Fulfilled

A/N: A little heads up from me~ there are some words that you might not like reading and even hearing.So I'm just giving you people a  little heads up and please take note that in the next chapters,there will be some swearing.I swear most of the time(silently,so that I won't attract unwanted attention),so it's rubbing off on my characters and what college student doesn't swear-other than those innocent peeps of course-it would be my first time to know that there is a college student in this day and age not swearing.Just saying.

Chapter 3

I was expecting that we will have our talk after I finish eating.I was even fretting over what to say first in case if he asks some weird question.I was hoping that we would talk about it.I wasted my time worrying over nothing.At least I won't have to hear him talk about his new girl.I will never admit to him that I was jealous thinking about him with another girl.I might need therapy.Every time I see,hear or even think about him,I go sappy and mushy.

"Aren't you gonna watch tv?"I heard Arren say.There it goes again!My brain is empty,I can hear the wind passing through my head.You know those dead shrubs that roll when there is nothing in the desert or some isolated place?That is happening inside my head.I shut down.This is becoming more stupid when I think rationally.I'm becoming dumb!No!I can't become like that knucklehead!He may cook good food but that doesn't mean he excels in his academic studies!He might have stopped studying altogether when he went here!wait.............study......school.Ugh.....

I was brought out from my trance when I felt someone pinch me.It caught me by surprise so I couldn't help myself from yelping.I turned to look at the dude who pinched me."Seriously?You didn't have to do that, you know."he merely shrugged at me.The nerve of this guy."What are you gonna do now?Don't expect that I won't kick you out.You said that you'll stay for the night only.Go!Shoo!"I said,shooing him off like he was a dog.He looked at me with feigned hurt look then said,"What am I?A dog?Ouch!When did you become so mean to me?Where did my Mitchelle go?Who are you, imposter?!What did you do to my Mitchelle?Did you kill her?Oh God no!" How melodramatic!Wait...My Mitchelle...MY Mitchelle...MY MITCHELLE?!Woah there!

"My Mitchelle?Since when did I became your Mitchelle,Ren?If I remember correctly I wasn't and isn't ever going to be your Mitchelle."I don't want my hopes up just because you called me your Mitchelle. Arren looked at me right in the eye and I thought that what was written in the books I read was false.The thing about you seeing the other person's feelings through their eyes,not through their facial expression.In that moment when he looked at me right in the eye showed me his feelings.It confused me very much.I could tell what he felt but I couldn't put it in words.They were too expressive.His feelings was there one second then gone the next.He hid them well.I'll give him credit for that.

"You are and will always be my Mitchelle.Nothing will change that,"he said it so seriously that I almost forgot that I shouldn't hope for anything.He can have any girl he wants.Beautiful,funny,loving and sweet girls.After all,he has a good heart.Any sane girl would want to marry him.He's rich,kind and handsome.The package deal every girl want all for themselves.Like you,right,Mitch?Snatch this opportunity to keep the prize every girl want to have,all for yourself.A little voice in my head said,tempting me to be someone who I don't want to be,ever again.I promised him.

"Okay"

It became silent after that but it only lasted for a moment when he said,"Let's go hunt for a place I can stay.'Cause you won't let me crash here till. . . I don't know when.Maybe. . ."he mumbled the last part to himself.I had to strain my ears to hear what he said but only got to hear the 'maybe' part 'cause he was eating his words.I just shrugged it off.Surely he was just talking about something stupid or childish.
