From Nerd To Badass

Chapter 5

Rose POV

Entering the building to say I was scared was an understatement everyone in the building bowed their head when Anna crossed them and narrowed their eyes when they saw me keeping my head down I walked behind Anna and we entered a cabin. She went and sat on the chair and said me to sit on the chair opposite to her and she started calling someone telling to arrange for an emergency meeting after 5 minutes she got up from her chair and said me to follow her. We entered in a hall where everyone was present as soon as they saw Anna they stopped talking and Anna went on a stage like platform and started talking

"Everyone listen I have some news to share. As you see my niece standing there" she pointed towards me and all heads turned towards me "she is going to join our gang as she stays with me and you all know how dangerous it is for her to not know how to defend herself"

As she said this everyone started whispering and some of them turned towards me and then one of them questioned Anna

"So does she know to use any weapons?"

"No she does not  we will teach her then she will give the test if she passes it then only she can.What do you guys think?"

A bunch of okay's and yeah's were heard 

"Okay everyone can go back to their work and I want Joey,  Mellisa and Jordan in my cabin" saying this she got  down and I just followed her to her cabin with the 3 of them behind me.

As we entered her cabin she motioned us to sit down then she introduced me to them Joey was around 6 with grey eyes and Mellisa had red hair and she was around 5'7 even she had grey eyes like Joey (A/N if I have not mentioned Rose's height before its 5'7) Anna said me that Joey and Mellisa  will train me with using weapons while Jordan will teach me to fight without weapons and I shall start training from today only and I have 1 weeks time and then I have to take the test. After that she said me to go with Mellisa and change and start training with her.

I started walking with Mellisa I thought it would be good to know her

"So you and Joey are related?"

"Ya he's my twin"

"OK why did Anna ask you two to train me not anyone else?"

"Because we both are the best now shut up"

what a bitch I thought and just followed her in a room where there where a lot of guns knives and got knows what were the other weapons she took a gun and started to instruct me what to do and how to do. After some time Joey also joined us and started training me with knives and after hours of training Anna called me back to the cabin and said we are leaving to go home.

The next day Jordan started to train me with basics of fighting and them left me with Mellisa and Joey because he had some work to do. 

The whole week was the same Joey , Mellisa and Jordan were teaching me Jordan and Joey said I was doing good but Mellisa was the same she would just tell me what to do and if I did something wrong she would shout like there is no tomorrow man this girl was scary. Today was Sunday and I was taking the test and from tomorrow I was starting school . Everyone was gathered  in the backyard of the building where I was gonna give the test. First round was of firing with the guns and if I passed it I would use the knives and then a fight with whomever Anna says.

Before the test started Mellisa came up to me  and said "you better pass the test cause i've spent the whole week on you if you don't it won't be good "

She is so scary I better do properly or I am dead I thought and then the test started first with guns I shoot 8 out of 10 with that I passed the first round in the second round I scored 7 out of 10 so yay I passed that also for the third and final round I had to fight someone Anna called a girl name Stacey and the fight started she was a bit taller than me but Jordan had taught me well she came first on me and I successfully dodged the punch and I punched her on her stomach like that only I punching her she coming back on me we were going but her one blow on my stomach was very hard like she wanted to end it I fell back when I heard Mellisa shouting me to get up and fight back even Jordan joined her in screaming with great difficulty I got up and gave her a punch near the jaw and repeatedly  on the stomach and then she fell down and gave up and everyone cheered for me and Nita and Cecilia came running to me and gave me a bone crushing hug I was welcomed in the gang.
