The Weed that Brought Us Together

Ch. 7

*Alexa's POV*

Today is the day Tyde take me out for a date. I'm so nervous. Why am i even nervous? I didn't know tho but he's really sweet and caring. He said that he will pick me up at 7. But it's now 7:05. I wonder where is he.

My thoughts snap when i heard knocking on my door. I open it and seeing Tyde holding a bucket of red roses. I smile and forget about he late almost 30 minutes. "Im sorry i late because i have to pick the beautiful flower to the beautiful girl." He said as smile on his face showing his dimples. I slightly blush and giggle.
"Its okay Tyde, thank you for the flowers." I smile kiss his cheek as he blush and return the smile.
"Come on m'lady." He said as he open his arm as i slip my hand to his, smiling.

He drive to a fancy and romantic restaurant and we order our foods. "Tyde you don't have to bring me to this restaurant, i can eat taco bell ya know? Its not that I'm not enjoying this but this restaurant is kind of expensive." I asked as i break the silence. "I know, but i want to take a beautiful girl to this beautiful restaurant." He said as he smile at me. I blush slightly and hide my face with my hand. "Don't! You look cute when you're blushing." He take of my hand of my face and kiss my palm. I smile and starting to blushing again. "Stop being sweet, Tyde! You make me blush." I said as i let out a small giggle. He only smile and keep holding my hand playing with it until the food serve.

Once we finish eating, we go to the park to go for a walk. We arrive at the park and starting to walk around the park. We walk in silence while Tyde holding my hand and laughing at stupid things we are talking. There's a swing in the corner of the park, in front of the small lake. We decided to sit and play with the swing. There's only one swing so one of us can't sit. "I called shotgun!" He yelled as he run to the swing while im trying to catch him so i can sit first. "That's not fair! You didn't said that we were racing." I playfully pouting. Instead of saying any words, he pull me and sit me on his lap as he place his hand on my waist and smiling. I smile back at his cuteness. We chatting and laughing until we have to go home.

*G's POV*

I only laying on my bed and watching some YouTube channel. I'm home alone until next Sunday. My parents went into holiday trip yesterday, and my brother is in college. I sigh and go downstairs to find foods. I find some Cinnamon Toast Crunch and eat that. Once i finish, i sit on the couch turning the TV on. I watch until i get bored and decided to go to the park to go for a walk.

When im walking around the park, i heard laughing and giggling. I look around and there's no sign of kids around. When i turn around, i look into the lake and there's Tyde holding Lexi on his lap in the swing. I feel jealousy and my blood boiling up. I clench my fist but i think again not to angry because i have nothing to do, remembering Tyde has so much positive thing in his life. I feel sad. I feel like im nothing compare him. And that's probably true because im the 'bad boy'. I watch them laughing and Tyde whisper something to her that make her blush. It breaks my heart. I never felt this way to girls i used to. After a while watching them like a creep, i walk back home with sad expression on my face.

Once i reach my house, i take a shower and think about how happy she was when i saw her with Tyde. Ugh! why am i so emotional? After i finish, i go to my backyard and go up to my tree house that i made when i was younger with my dad. I sit in there while watching the skies. I start to think again about Lexi and Tyde. I imagine her beautiful smile and her laugh. I love the way she blush when she got compliments. It's like my eyes recorded all the things she always does and how beautiful it was and save it to my brain. My eyes fill up with tears that im holding on. I begin to cry silently thinking of her and Tyde.
