How long we rode for none of us know. We rode through the night and into the dawn. And yet no matter how far we ran, they were always after us, after me. Suddenly Benn rode up beside me. "Bhane we need to stop. We aint got no food, no water and Jon is going to kill everyone because...actually I don't even know why". I slowed down and looked behind me. They were still there. "Shit. Okay fine." Suddenly I smiled. "only a few more miles Benn, we're meeting a very close friend of mine soon". I clapped him on the shoulder and pushed on. I looked back at him and saw him clench his jaw before riding after me.
However, as fate would have it, we were too slow. The Kingsmen outflanked us and soon I was face to face with Gorje, the leader of the Kingsmen and the right hand man of the King. "Hello there Bhane" he said in his nasally high voice. My hand twitched toward my sword and over a hundred arrows were drawn and pointed at me. I grinned and held my hands up, "no need for that guys, it'd be a shame for you to die on such a fantastic day, eh". Gorje took off his help and raised a perfect blonde eyebrow. "And what day is that Bhane". I motioned to my Brothers and they nodded. "Why Gorje, leader of the Kingsmen and soon to die. Today is my birthday" and quick as a snake I drew my sword and decapitated him. In the spray of blood my Brothers attacked as one. Benn drew three throwing knifes and licked his lips. "Godamnit Bhane, you're fucking insane" he he bellowed as he threw his knifes, three men falling with those knifes embedded in their eyes. I grinned manically as I gutted one man and rolled over and slit the throat of another. Suddenly, the battle was over as they fled. I stood still, covered in blood, with my Brothers around me. I growled and started walking towards my horse. My brothers looked at me and awaited my orders. Sitting on my horse, above all of them, looking diligently at me I suddenly realised why men became Kings and why Kings became tyrants. "What should we.." "kill everyone of them". I interrupted Benn. They all smiled and started running towards the fleeing Kingsmen. "Oh apart from you Benn, I need you with me". He nodded and rode back to my side. "you remember the very special person we were heading too see?" I asked him. He nodded. I looked over the mountains of the Alps and smirked. "Have I ever told you about my mother, Brother Benn?"
