Chapter 11: W-A-R

Aphmau's POV

I woke up but everyone around me was freaking out. Sammy was about to faint, Zoey was standing there frozen, Lucinda was too. Garroth. He was standing next to me as pale as a ghost. "You're awake?" He said probably freaking out inside. I nodded and laid on the bed.... I just needed to get sleep... Everyone else left but Garroth. He never left me alone. He stood there gripping his diamond sword in his hand. I turned to the other side and went to sleep...

"SHE WHAT!" I said angrily. " S-she hasn't signed it yet... " She said trying not to get hurt.  I sighed thinking about how awful it would be to have war again... But no time for this... " Send the troops NOW" I banged on the table grinning... " I can't wait to see that village of hers burn.."

Laurence's POV

I woke up a day after Aphmau woke up perfectly fine. I got up and started to go into the forest to patrol. Then I heard something.. " Hey.. PST. KID." The voice said. I turned around gripping my sword in my hand as hard as I could. " You need to warn your lord's village... Scaleswind is coming..." They said... " Who are you?" I said raising an eyebrow. " Remember that peace document your Lord never signed?" It replied... "Damnit! It might be to late!" I said biting my lip. The person nodded and ran off... My Irene what have we done... We should have made her sign it...I ran through the village and grabbed Zoey. " ZOEY! SCALESWIND IS COMING!" I yelled at her. " Wait.... You NEVER made Aphmau sign it?" She screamed back. I nodded. " Oh my Irene I guess we will have to call our allies to battle..." She said running off. I ran off to the guard tower. " Guys... " I couldn't catch my breath... " Scaleswind is coming.." I said finally being able to breath... I could see the terror in Dante and Garroth's eyes. They probably thought that Aphmau signed the paper as well... " Get your swords sharpened because they are coming tomorrow.." I said sighing.. Sammy was behind us.. " Scaleswind... Is coming..?" She said.. But what I saw wasn't how I knew her.. She was a Shadow knight... " Excuse me? Does Lord Aphmau know your a shadow knight." She rolls her eyes at me. " I'm not a shadow knight.. This is my armor..." She said nagging my voice.. She walked away still annoyed with what I asked her..

Aphmau's POV

I walked outside in the forest my hand scratching the trees as I walked slowly back to the village after riding my horse, Sprinkles.. I smiled looking at the sight of the village... I slowly walked through the gate. " Lord Aphmau!" Garroth yelled and grabbed me. " W-what? " I said shaking because all of a sudden he grabbed me? " You can't be out here... We are in war with Scaleswind now. " He said inches away from my face. I could already feel my face burning up... "Aphmau!" Zoey said then stopped... " Did I interrupt something?" Garroth pulled away and his face was on fire. " She was out in the forest" Garroth reported. " Oh! Well get Laurence to tell her what happened..." He nodded and looked at me. He grabbed my hand and pulled me to the guard tower. " I'll talk to you later." he said smiling. I smiled and gave him a little kiss on the cheek.
