Chapter 9

Hello! How are you? I'm fine, thank you very much. I don't get the point in this thingy. But I did go to 'This Is Us' and at the end of the movie I had a headache from crying so much. And in the first five minutes the napkin I had was soaked. But I also made two new friends! Their names are Meredith and Emily.

*LOUIS' VIEW*

I wipe the tears from my face and splash water on my face also. I'm being foolish. I haven't had a vacation in months and I'm not going to ruin it. I will confront Lennox about it at the end of the trip. For now, we're all gonna have fun and put our past behind us.

I slip a hoodie over my t-shirt and walk across the hall to the girls room. I knock twice and I hear shuffling and a crash before Lennox opens the door in her sweatpants and football shirt. I step inside without a second of hesitation.

"C'mon. We're going out, put something decent on. Chop, chop." I say clapping my hands and sitting cross-legged on the couch. Lennox raises an eyebrow at me but doesn't question. She changes right there in front of me into jeans and a sweat shirt like me. I look away blushing but I don't know why. We've changed in front of each other billions of times but it feels so different this time.

"Where are we going?" Lennox asks while I drag her out the door and into the caged elevator.

"We're going on an adventure." I say, wiggling my eyebrows at her at a failed attempt and pushing the lobby button in the elevator. She looks down at our hands still intertwined and we both let ago immediately. She looks away blushing and I do the same. What the hell am I doing? I never blush. When will this elevator ride end?

The elevator dings and we scurry out. I place my hoodie over my head and Lennox does the same. I am not risking being seen and plus it's cold outside. We go out the door of the hotel and it's sundown.

"Let's go." I say grinning at her and dragging her along from shops to shops.

"Give me a penny!" Lennox exclaims and I search my pockets for change. I hand her a penny and keep one for me. She turns her back to the fountain and scrunches up her nose, she then flips the coin and it lands straight into the water. I wish this will be the best vacation ever. I then flip the coin and then smirk.

"I have an idea." I say, looking around. Very few people are around looking at the shops. Pedestrians are looking at old people shops and children are playing on a little playground. We're apparently on the out skirts of the city. I take off my shoes and socks. They touch the cold ground and I shiver, it is November after of all.

"What a-" Lennox says but I cut her off.

"Just do what I do." I say and take off my hoodie, leaving my green t-shirt and trousers. She shrugs and takes off her shoes and socks and her sweatshirt also. I never noticed that she was wearing the football jersey that I gave to her years ago. Back then it was way to big for her but it fits perfect now.

"Give me your hand." I say holding out my own hand. She looks at me like I'm crazy but takes it anyways.

"Okay. 1, 2, 3." I say, ready to jump into the fountain. She notices what I'm about to do and is about to scream in protest but her voice gets taken away when she gets pulled into the water. I jump up and shake my hair. The water is freezing and I'm completely soaked. Lennox pops up from under the water with a surprised expression on her face. Like really, how did she not expect that I was going to shove her into the water?

"You are the worst." She says shivering and I start to laugh hysterically. She soon joins and we get out rolling on the floor laughing.

"Lets go. I'm freezing." I say wiping the tears from my eyes and putting on my hoodie and my socks and shoes. I'm still soaking and so is Lex. Lex nods and pulls her sweatshirt back on and her socks and shoes. I can't help but notice how perfectly her hair falls over her shoulder and how her eyelashes look longer and blacker when they're wet. I shake my head to clear my thoughts. You're being ridiculous, Louis.

"Okay." Lex says and loops her arm in mine and we sway laughing and dodging people and racing each other. When we get back to the hotel we're still soaking.

"Goodnight." Lex says, standing outside her door and I stand out side mine.

"Goodnight." I say, smiling. She leans over and kisses my cheek before going into her room. I stand there surprised and go back into my room dumb-founded. It's just a kiss on the cheek.

My computer fucking stinks. I wrote a chapter and was about to post it but my computer got messed up and it deleted it. So that's the reason it's kinda shot. Btw shoutout to the book 'That Typical 1D fanfic'. It's the book that Shelby and Peyton are writing and its amaZAYN! Sorry, I just had to say it.
