--Sky's POV--

Life hasn't been so hard lately. I have a friend. A friend to protect me. I never thought I would say I have a friend! I've only been getting beaten up five times a week! Man...having a friend is great.
I put my journal away as I see Mitch coming into the field. He had invited me to his football practice. I have nothing else to do so, I went, why not?
"Heeey dude!" Mitch calls, waving his hand in the air to me. I smile and wave back to him. He's a great guy... He's nice, strong, athletic, stubborn, hot. I shake my head, yea, he's all those things.. But he's mainly me friend, and only my friend.

--Mitch's POV--

Adam Dahlberg or Sky as he prefers, either way he was at my practice. That poor boy..He didn't conform to genders so he is bullied—cruelly. Hell, they took out his eye because of it! Who actually does that?! Well...the jocks that I am friends with, and they are proud. So proud in fact, they have the knife that cut Adam's eye out on a shrine in the locker room, for all to adore. How twisted is that? This town...this town is sick. They all don't give a shit about Adam. They all think he's a disgrace, and I think they're starting to catch on that I'm friends with him.

After a few hours of practice I go to the locker room and change back into my normal clothes, of course after washing off in the showers. The guys and I in the locker room joke around about the popular girls being the little sluts they are. I love those girls, they live to entertain us, love us, fuck us. It's great really, since I've gotten here a few months ago, I've already nailed three of them. That probably sounds a little sleazy but...ah I have no excuses, I'm a man whore, fuck me.

I quickly get changed so I can go ask Sky if he'd like to go out for dinner, but once I come out he's gone. He probably wanted to hightail it before the other jocks got to him. I sigh and walk off to the bike rack to grab..well my bike stupid, it's the bike rack.

--Sky's POV--

Once the football practice was over and they all went to change, I left. I absolutely would catch hell if I stayed and waited for Mitch. I go into my favorite diner and order some fries and a milkshake. I pull my journal out while waiting for the order.

So I went to Mitch's football practice. He's pretty strong, tackling all the other jocks. I mean those jocks are huuuuuge! ...I think I might have a crush on him. I'm not sure what a crush really feels like but according to books and teen sitcoms, I have the crushy friendzoned blues. Wanna hear why I like Mitch? Well you don't have a choice, you're a journal, well no, you're actually a diary but a journal sounds more manly—that was another lie. But any way, back to Mitch.

I go to the next page, but before I begin writing, I look up to see my waitress watching everything I write. I blush deep red, she goes to my school, she'll tell everyone! "I-I! I'm sorry! Please don't tell anyone," I look at her name tag, it reads 'Ty'. This was the other new kid. Okay now I am confused and flustered. They looked like a girl, a feminine body, longer hair. And they were wearing a skirt.

Ty blinks at me and laughs uproariously, setting down my order. "God! You are too funny! You look like you just saw a really hot girl, but then you found out she had a dick! Oh wait, did you? Are you confused about me?" They snicker out.

"I-Uhm...I'm sorry.." I stamper out, but nod.

"I'm transgender...they just haven't gotten my new nametag yet, besides, most people don't take the time to look at it so..I'm in no rush. I've seen you around here before one-eye, and you order the same thing everytime. Why is that?" Ty says, shifting themselves around.

"Jeez you're asking so questions aren't you? I really don't know...maybe it's because it's the only thing I can actually control in my life?" I offer. Ty nods at this answer.

"Well..this one is on the house. And shh, don't go blabbing to the school that I told you I'm Transgender okay?" Ty leans down and whispers to me. I can't help but look down the slim line between skin and shirt, and I see tissues. She uses tissues to give off the impression that she has boobs. Wow..how has none of the popular girls found this out yet? They always find out in the sitcoms! I realize I haven't answered the question when Ty is staring at me sternly. I nod and look away.

After a few minutes I go back to writing.

Okay so..before the list I have some more news. I just met someone named Ty...or something else, they didn't say they're real name. They are actually a she! Trans! Yes! I mean it. There is a trans in my school and they aren't bullied. God, the world must hate me a lot if it doesn't bully Ty but it bullies me because I'm genderfluid. Either way, Ty asked some odd questions and talked funny but, I think she's okay, she gave me free food. :)  So now for the list...ah forget it, I don't need a list to know why I like Mitch, I just know I do.

I finish my food a few minutes upon putting away my journal. I raise my hand to call Ty over for the check, even though she said it was on the house.. I still wanted to say bye.

Ty looks over and walks to me. "Hey," she smiles at me and slides me a paper, "call me." She winks and saunters back to to the kitchen. I look down at the paper, on it is written what I'm guessing to be her number and a heart. So..I just got the number of a girl for the first time. I need to write in my journal more. Gosh, this month has been wacky so far.
