first days can suck. but, they can also be the best thing in your entire life. the first day, you meet new people, meet you're future friends, competitors, allies, enemies. it's a day of firsts.

this was also the day I first met Isaiah Babenaeux, Zay for short. he was different, he was tough, but he did ballet. and he was good, almost better than me. apparently he had gone to the same school as me for years, but he was always in ballet or classes, while I was focused on other types of dance, music, and art.

I've met and dated a lot of guys, usually football players, or lacrosse players, or even basketball players. I've never dated a dancer before, a musician or an artist.

this is the story of how we met, how we grew, how a relationship was formed, how we became us. this is the story of zay and maya. prepare yourselves because you're in for a lot.
