It had been a few weeks since the whole incident at the bar and ever since it happened, Ace had tried to steer clear of Fergal and fortunately, her plan had worked and she hadn't run into the Irishman once in a whole month.

Ace let out a frustrated groan as the sound of another wolf whistle filled her ears. She tried to pull the dress she wore down as much as she could, but of course, Carmella had let her borrow a dress that barely covered anything.

Recently, Vince McMahon had taken a trip down to NXT and decided to comment on the way Ace dressed while he was there. "You need to dress more professional," he had told the blonde female who just nodded. "Those baggy t-shirts and ripped jeans you wear aren't professional. You're representing the WWE so look nice. Wear a dress, do your makeup. Look pretty."

Even though Triple H had told her not to worry about what was said, Vince's words stuck with Ace so while she was in South Carolina for Raw with a few other NXT stars who had been asked to come, she decided to trade in her usual casual attire for something more "professional". Now, walking through the arena where Raw was being held, Ace wore a dress (that she now regretted wearing because it was so short), her black Vans (there was no way she was wearing heels), and had on some nice, simple makeup (but of course, she didn't like wearing makeup and was going to take it off as soon as she got back to the hotel).

"Ace?"

Turning around, Ace's gray eyes met Fergal's worried, blue ones. "What do you want?" Hearing her own voice made Ace gasp. She sounded so...broken. Tired. Beaten down.

"Ace, you're crying."

Reaching up, she realized Fergal was right. Her cheeks were soaked with tears. "Yeah, so?"

"What's wrong, A?"

"Nothing, just forget it." Ace turned and tried to walk away, but Fergal grabbed her arm and turned her towards him.

"You only ever cry when you're upset," he spoke softly, placing his hands on Ace's shoulders, "now tell me what's wrong, please?"

Ace didn't want to talk to Fergal. She just wanted to pull away from him and go find a quiet place to sit and think, but she knew he wasn't going to let her go until she told him. "Remember when Vince came to that NXT taping the other day?" Her voice was soft, barely above a whisper so she wasn't sure that he had heard her until he nodded. "He, uh, he told me that I needed to dress more 'professional', no more t-shirts and jeans, I need to wear makeup and be 'pretty'." Ace sniffled and wiped her nose before continuing. "So I, I borrowed some dresses from Leah and I was going to wear them until we got back to Florida, but gosh, this is so frustrating." Her voice was starting to crack, but she kept going. "I've had so many guys wolf whistle at me and I can't fucking stand it,"

"Oh god, Ace, c'mere." Fergal pulled the blonde into his arms and at first, she tried to pull away, but after a few seconds she realized there was no point because Fergal wasn't going to let go so she let herself lean into his embrace and cry into his shoulder.

The pair stayed like that for a few minutes before Ace's sobs seized. "I think I'm good now," she spoke into his now tear-soaked shirt before pulling away, this time Fergal letting her.

"I take it you're going to go change now, right?"

Ace laughed. "Uh, I would, but all the other clothes I packed are dresses that I borrowed from Leah." Ace knew that she'd probably have to spend the next two days wearing dresses since it was all she packed. The only other option was borrowing something of Rami or Ben's, but neither of them were here. The two men had stayed in Florida so they could prepare for their match at R-Evolution that Thursday.

"I have some clothes you can borrow until we get back to Orlando tomorrow."

"W-what?" Ace couldn't believe what Fergal, her ex lover that had broke her heart, was suggesting.

"They'd probably be a bit big on you, but it's something, right?"

"Y-yeah," Ace struggled to find something else to say so she settled for a soft-spoken 'thank you' before Fergal led her to where he kept his stuff in the men's locker room.

Ace looked at herself in the full length mirror; Fergal had given her a baggy Queen t-shirt that she knew he had owned for years and some gym shorts that were a few sizes too big so she rolled the waistband up a bit to make them fit better. She noticed that the clothes smelled like him, but tried not to think too much about it. She couldn't help but think of when she used to steal Fergal's shirts all the time and how if she looked hard enough, she probably had one or two back at her apartment hidden in the back of her closet.

"Ace?"

Ace jumped at the sound of Fergal's voice; she could tell by how loud his voice was that he was probably standing right outside the shower room door that led back into the men's locker room. Thankfully, all the other guys had left beforehand so Ace and Fergal were the only ones left in the locker room.

Ace quickly slipped on her Vans before grabbing the dress she had originally wore and opened the door. Her suspicion had been correct, Fergal stood on the other side of the door, one hand up ready to knock while the other held another set of clothes.

"Uh, sorry, um, these are for you," Fergal stuttered as he handed the extra set of clothes to Ace. "It's just a pair of sweats and an extra Bálor Club shirt that I happened to have."

"Thanks, I'll give them back-"

"Don't worry about it. Keep them." Fergal shrugged. "The sweats are a bit small for me anyways."

Ace was shocked, but didn't say another word about it. Mumbling a 'thank you', the blonde made her way past Fergal and stuck the small stack of folded clothes she held in her suitcase which she had grabbed out of the women's locker room before changing.

Fergal wanted to stop himself from getting flustered when he saw Ace wearing his clothes. He couldn't help but think of all the times back in Japan when Ace wore nothing but his t-shirts...no. He wasn't going to let his thoughts get the best of him and quickly pushed them to the back of his mind.

"Everything okay?"

Fergal looked over at Ace, a confused look etched on her face. Nothing was wring, but ever since the incident at the bar, Fergal thought about their time together in Japan and all he wanted to do was make sure Ace knew he was sorry. "Can we talk?"

"We are talking," Ace joked, a smile tugging at her lips.

"You know what I mean."

The smile that had been forming on Ace's face immediately disappeared. "No."

"Ace, I just wanna explain-"

"No," Ace repeated the word as she grabbed her suitcase and started heading out of the room.

"Accailia."

The sound of her first name was enough to make the blonde haired, gray eyed female stop in her tracks. Nobody had called her by her first name in over two years, the last time she had heard it was just before her dad died. Out of all the people she knew, her dad was the only one who never called his daughter Ace. It was always Accailia.

And it was like a slap in the face for someone like Fergal, the man who had broken her heart and knew about her dad, to call her by her first name.

Without turning around, Ace spat the words, "it's Ace," at Fergal before storming out of the locker room.
