"Mia wake up!" My mom yells
I wake up from a dream when I realized I was in my moms car on our way to one of the richest houses in Beverly Hills. My mom got a promotion by her boss also known as her boyfriend Hank, ew. I never wanted to move for three reasons my friends, the peaceful but poor neighborhood and my dads grave, but I guess this will make my mom happier.
"Aye niña, ya llegamos." My mom says to me as she snaps me out of my thinking, we're here and I'm not sure if I'm prepared.
Mom takes off her seat belt, but I'm still in it, I'm not ready! I want to go home.
"Mia, I know your scared but we got to do this. This promotion will change our lives for the better."
"Ma what if nobody likes me? What if I never get married to William Levy?!"
She looks back at me
"Sweetie that was never going to happen anyways." She laughs then gets off the car.
"Get out now."
"N-no!" I shout and scared for my life! I just said no to my mother!
My Mexican mother!
"Que? I don't think I heard right?" She says back at me and opens my door.
Ah shit. She removes my seat belt and forcefully removes me out of the car making me feel sorry for myself.
"See that wasn't that hard, next time I'm bringing the Sandal into this." She warns me and a shake my head and followed my mom to the house
"Why couldn't we at least move in with Hank?" I ask
"Because he's still my boyfriend not my husband."
"Do you really love him?" I ask
"Yes." She says opening the door to the house
"More then dad?" I ask again
She looks back at me with sad eyes and grabs onto my shoulder
"I will always love your father, he was my best friend." She tells me
My eyes get teary and so do moms but she then wipes both our tears and smiles
"Maybe you'll find your true love here." She nudges me
"I already got one ma, William Levy." I wink at her
"Esta Niña." My mom says as she shakes her head
We enter the house and it's so beautiful very beautiful.
"How many rooms?" I ask
"Three." She's says
"Is the other part ours or not?" I ask
"No that's somebody else's ."
"Well I'm off to get my stuff." I said
"I'll be right there in a minute." She says
I go and and unlock the van to get my stuff, I grab my hello kitty bag which had my makeup. I'll first get this then get the rest later. Since makeup is much more important.
As I start walking to my house I see a very cute white boy coming close to me! Mia act natural.
"Hi are you my new neighbor?" He says with a big smile, his eyes are so blue and his hair is so golden, you don't see much of this on the wrong side of California.
"Yea." I said moving a piece of my hair behind my ear
"I'm Jaxson King." He says sticking his hand out
"Mia Rivera." I said grabbing onto his hand, his hand is so soft.
"You need any help?" He asks me
"Huh? Oh no."
"I can help you with your hello kitty bag if you want."
I look at my other hand and noticed I was carrying my freaking hello kitty bag, so embarrassing.
"Nah, it's cool." I smiled at him
"Alright then, if you need me I'll be in there." He Points at his house
"Thanks." I said before leaving
I ran into the house and went upstairs to the room my mom said was mine, I locked it and I jumped on my bed.
"I want to die!" I said placing a pillow on my face
I hear knock on my door
"Uh why are you locked in here, your not done." My mom tells me
"Sorry." I said walking slowly out of the room then downstairs. I walk outside
and I see him leave his house and onto his friends car. I then see a girl with blonde hair kiss him, of course she's blonde! I hate my life!
I walk to the van and I grab my other stuff.
I turn around and see their bright red car next to me
"Mia are you sure you don't need any help?" Jaxson asks me
His friends look at me and his girlfriend glares at me.
"I'm good." I said walking away
"Who is that?" I hear his girlfriend say
"My new neighbor, and don't start Liv." He says
"I'm not." She says
"She's kind of hot." Says one of his friends and I blush
"Shut up, Lucus." Liv says
They leave and my face is red as a tomato.
This is my new life.
