Please forgive my selfishness

This poem I wrote in my freshman year... It's about a book I read and started to inspire me to write poems.

This is based on one of the books from House of night.... Really good vampire books if you ask me :)

Water dripping from the sky

Mixing with my tears

I will never be okay as

Long as you aren't here

Now you are in my arms

And looking at your soulless body

But you are breathing hard

That is nothing more
