*3rd person*

The knife in her hand gleamed as she smirked madly and narrowed her red eyes in determination. He chuckled in a low voice as he panted hard.

"you're really determined, aren't you kid?" he rasped. He slipped his hand into his jacket and wrapped his hand around the trigger.

"You think that'll kill me?" she sneered. "I'll just reload and come back stronger."

"i know," he replied coldly, raising the gun to her head.

"See you in the next run, Sans," she cackled as she dropped her knife and opened her arms wide, accepting the bullet.

"guess so."

*BANG*

The gun in his hand shook madly as he panted hard. She dropped her knife and fell on her knees, then falling flat on the ground. He finally exhaled, and the tears came streaming down his cheekbones. Dropping his weapon, he dropped to his own knees and put his hand on her smooth hair.

i never wanted this...

He breathed heavily as he sobbed silently over her death. He knew she would come back and fight him again.. but she was so close to killing him this time. She was too close for his comfort. Because of this, he knew the next run meant he would die.

Never see his little brother's face ever again in his head.

Never hear the love of his life's laugh again in his ears.

Never crack puns with his majesty again in his memories.

Never remember watching the nerd and the tomboy together.

Never laugh at the obnoxious robot and her cousin ghost.

Never feel the warmth of her hug ever again.

He buried his face into her blue and purple striped shirt. The thoughts of his loved ones made his soul rip a little more. He screamed, but nobody came to comfort him. He yelled, but his distress wasn't heard. He sobbed, but he had nobody to hug.

He lifted her in a position where he would hold her dead body in his arms. His tears dropped on her soft and fuzzy cheeks as he shook madly. Into the sky, he screeched in pain. It ripped a little more.

She wouldn't come back. Seconds passed. Minutes. Then hours. She wouldn't come back to fight him again, and most likely kill him. The pain was too much for him. His soul was so close to rip into small pieces. His health went down immediately, for he was running out of HoPe. Putting her body down on the cold tile floor, he glanced at the shiny blade nearby.

He stood up and looked down at the gleam of the knife on the ground. Right next to it, he saw the gun that he had dropped.

at least i have the choice on how to die.

He outreached both of his hands for both of the weapons. Yielding them in either hands, he shook madly once more. He looked behind him at the limp body of the person he used to know, used to love. Tears streamed down heavily as he raised the gun to his head and positioned the knife in front of his body. He smiled weakly and closed his eyes.

see you in the next run, kid.

*BANG*
