Chapter 6

Shopping day

It was a cold day in September. The rain was coming hard but that didnt stop Barbara, she was sure to go shopping today with Melanie. But first she had to decide what to wear. She went to take a shower, using her favorite shampoo that smelled like coconut and her cherry blossom body wash. Her long blonde hair turned brown from the water. She got out towel dryed her hair and went to her closet. She noticed a big sweater that was perfect for this weather, she took out some dark jean shorts and her black vans. She put on her makeup. First her light bb cream, after that she put on some concealer and eye primer. Then she put on her bouncy blush. She put some powder on and then put on natural eye shadow. She finished it off with some black eyeliner on her bottom water line and maybeline mascara after curling her eyelashes. She got out her hair curler, curling every piece of strand perfectly. She got out her iPhone 5 and dialed Melanie's number.

"Hey babe"

"Hey so I'm not sure what to wear this black tank top or the blue crop top"

"Black tank top"

"Haha ill go with the blue crop top"

"Wow"

"So how about the shorts are jeans okay?"

"Absolutely and wear your black vans"

"Nah they are gonna get ruined because its raining. Ill just wear my old pair of toms"

"Ha toms for rainy weather? That seems right..."

"Okay so I will meet you at Starbucks in 10 minutes bye"

"Bye"

Barbara went downstairs to say hello to her mom and dad. It was really boring being an only child but there is a good thing to that.. You get whatever you want and don't have to share. She asked her mother for her usual $500 but this time her mother was generous and gave her $1000 because she's not gonna see her for maybe months and they definitely won't go shopping together. They both said I love you to each other and Barbara went off to Starbucks.

Meanwhile she was walking, she noticed paparazzi. They saw her too and started snapping a bunch of pictures. She was not used to this at all she kind of lost her balance and vision she ran towards Starbucks to find Eleanor Calder. Louis' girlfriend.

"Oh hey you must be Barbara"

"Yea nice to meet you El"

"Damn you are much prettier than I imagined you to be"

"Thank you, same thing to you"

"Love you are adorable what are you up to?"

"I'm here to meet my friend Melanie"

"Oh big shopping day huh?"

"Yeah"

"I also heard you are gonna be living with the boys. Very exciting"

"Yeah you have no idea."

"Well I don't wanna keep your friend waiting have fun"

"Wait... Um Eleanor maybe you would like to join us? I love your style"

"Really? I would love to"

"Alright well I see my friend id love for you to meet her."

Melanie walked inside Starbucks.

"Hey Mel" Barbara said

"Oh hey is this Eleanor? Oh my god"

"Yes it is nice to meet you"

"Nice too meet you too"

"I didn't catch your name love." Said El.

"It's Melanie are you gonna be joining us today?"

"Actually yes Barbara just invited me hope you don't mind"

"Awesome lets go"

So Barbara, Melanie, and Eleanor all went shopping. It was really cool getting stuff with Eleanor, she has really good style and She is Barbara's role model. They went Into Eleanor's favorite stores like topshop, American appearal, and urban outfitters. They were now Barbara's favorites as well.

Around 6 Eleanor left to go see her friend Max. Barbara and Melanie went back to Barbara's home to help her pack.

"I still can't belive you are gonna live with one direction eeekk"

"Haha I know right It feels like a dream."

"I bet you and your parents are gonna miss eachother."

"Well I still will be able to see them I'm gonna visit them maybe once a week or once a month because I'm not going far."

"That means we will still be able to hang out"

"Haha yeah"

"Yay"

They packed almost everything. Three suitcases filled with stuff. Barbara still had 4 more days left at home and she really wanted to leave quickly. Melanie decided to sleep over and did their usual stuff. Tomorrow they are going to see the movie 'you're next' Melanie has been dying to see it.
