"Every time I think about it; it gets worse." Alexa was tense. "Alexa all you need to do is rest. This is a place made for you to get better." Kyle announced. "Why am I here anyway? I'm not crazy!" Alexa raised her voice at Kyle. "Alexa, you're in a mental hospital for a reason. Your parents are dead because of yo-" Kyle was about to finish until Alexa cut him off. "Kyle. I didn't kill my parents. I'm not crazy!" Alexa stood up and walked twords the door and came to a stop. "And if I killed my parents; I would be honest about it." She then shut the door while Kyle was about to reply. Alexa was walking down the hall when she bumped into her medication supplier, "Oh! Hello Alexa." Mrs Wood waved. Alexa looked at Mrs Wood, "Hello Mrs Wood! Is there any medication today?" Alexa stuttered. She hated the medicine she was assigned to. But she knew if she took it then it was a closer point to getting out of that mad house. "Yes Alexa. Iodine X is the name of the medication. I will bring you it with some water soon." Mrs Wood was probably the nicest nurse that worked in the asylum. That made Alexa happy. "Thank you Mrs Wood." Alexa skipped away. Alexa walked up to her dorm door. She went to twist the handle when someone tapped her shoulder. She whisked around but no one was standing there. A cold breeze floated past her like a life form was just there. She just brushed it off her shoulder as if it was nothing major. She opened the door. She saw Amy on the floor; she was drawing on the tiles as she always did. "Good afternoon Amy." Alexa walked up to Amy and crouched to her height. "What are you drawing?"Alexa leaned over Amy. May was quite short for a 13 year old brunette. "Look! It's the shadows!" She pointed to the demonic figures she drew. Alexa looked closer. They looked as if they were distorted humanoid figures from the after life; or at least from another dimension. Alexa felt cold hands press against her chest, pushing her against a wall. She screamed as the tingling sensation climbed up her spine. She grasped the closest piece of furniture to bring herself to her feet. May just stared. "Sorry. The monster was angry I told you." She then turned back to her demonic drawings. A loud pounding was heard from the door. "Alexa! It's Mrs Wood. I'm here with your medication," Mrs Woods voice was soft and shakey. Almost like she saw or heard what just happened. Alex opened the door. "Hello Mrs Wood. Thank you."Alexa took the medication and the glass of water. She placed the pallet into her mouth. She gulped down a big mouth full of water. "Mrs.... I don't feel so -" Alexa dropped to the floor. She was pale and had a blank face. "DOCTOR!" Mrs Wood ran out of the room to find the doctor
