Morphology is the study of word formation, or the study of architecture of word.

Etymology is the study about the history of words or the study of the origins of word.

Lexicography is the scholary discipline of analyzing and describing the semantic relationship within the lexicon (Vocabulary) of language and developing theories of dictionary components and structures linking the data in dictionaries. This is sometimes referred to as metalexicography
