Sorry I have not written in a while school has me busy I am in Florida right now, YA. Hope you like my new story.

Sometimes accidents happen, I'm not talking about the type of accidents that are when you spill your drink, forget your keys, I'm talking about the kinds of crashes where it is multiple cars and parts fly everywhere. I know what that kind of crash is like, I have been in one of them, this is story of the day that I was the only one to live after a car crash.

I want to go to the beach to go surfing. That was all I could think of as I woke up out of my waterbed that morning. It took me around an hour to just get out of my bed, I was so comfy I did not want to get up.

" Aaron!" I hear my mom yelling at me from downstairs.

" Whaaatt?" My voice, still quiet because I do not feel completely awake yet.

" Breakfast."

" I will be down in a few minutes!" I finally get up as she continues to yell at me.

I find my pajama top, off the very hidden hardwood floor in my room, and put it on over my bare chest. When I get downstairs I smell the inviting scent of my mom's delicious pancakes on the table. I go into the large dining room, where the pancakes are, and see my mom setting the table.

" Aaron could you get the silverware and napkins please."

" Yes ma'am."

I get the silverware and napkins as she asked me, and place them with every plate on the table. When she calls the rest of the kids down I am already in my seat with pancakes, covered in maple syrup and powdered sugar, on my plate.

" What would everybody like to do today?" My mother asks with great consideration.

The only words you hear the five other people, including me, say are " Go to the beach!"

" Then it's decided we are going to the beach today!"

We finish breakfast and everybody goes upstairs to get their swimsuits on. I put on my swimsuit, It has a black stripe running down the side of my neon green trunks. The rest of my family is taking a really long time, mostly because they only care about how they look. When everybody gets downstairs we go outside to the two cars we have to drive to the beach with. I take the first car with Mom and two other siblings, my sister avery, Avery is seventeen, She has brown hair, like me, and brown eyes, the only thing I don't like is that she's on her phone all the time, also in the car is my brother, Randy, he is three and is with my mom all the time. Everybody else takes the van that is behind our car. When everybody is in their vehicle we take the long three hour journey to the beach. One hour into the ride and we are out of the big city and on to the freeway.

Forty-five minutes after we get on the freeway I see a big truck speeding down the road. This has happened to us before but it wasn't a very bad accident, I just hope this one isn't worse.

" Mom look out!" I am screaming at my mom, I am terrified, my heart is racing, I feel like I am going to die.

" He is going faster!" My sister Avery says, she doesn't sound as frightened as I am, probably because she had her nose in her phone.

" Quick get off the road, Mom he is trying to hit us!" That was the last word I say before it happens.

The truck is pulling into our lane, my mom doesn't seem to notice, it looks like everything's in slow motion. I can hear the screams and tears of my siblings. Next thing I know, the truck crashes into our car, the whole car falls to the side of the road and flips over, I see the roof of the car go inside the car and crush everything in its path, the only thing it does not crush is me. My whole family is hurt I try to check the pulse of everybody, I can only get to my sister who is right beside me, no pulse, she was the one who got hit the least, other than me, I know that if she had no pulse nobody else had one either. After everything's over I see people pull over to the side of the road and take out their phones, most of which to take pictures of the very broken car, I see one person pull the phone to his ear, I am praying that he is calling the emergency services, I am in the most pain I have ever been.

In half an hour I hear the sirens of an ambulance, fire truck, and police car. When the ambulance arrives the first thing they do is run over to the car and try to pull me out of it. The emt's pull me out of the car, it took them three hours and the jaws of death, and I was relieved. They put me on the stretcher gave me oxygen and piled me onto the ambulance. While I am on the ambulance I decide to take a well deserved nap.
