Closer

Kath P.O.V
We're still walking through these woods and both me and are exhausted and hungry. I hope we're getting closer to the end of these woods and hope my sisters are okay. As I was walking I heard a thud and whipped my head around and saw Dani on the ground.
"Dani!" I yelled running to her.
  "Dani what happened are you okay?" I asked checking her body to make sure she's fine.
  "Relax Kath I'm fine, I just tripped over a root that was sticking out of the ground" she says standing up but as she was about to walk she nearly feel again but I caught her.
"Ouch! I think I sprained my ankle Kath." She tells me and I look down at her ankle and slowly take off her shoe and look at her ankle. It's a bluish purple and definitely swollen
"Yeah you did and it's definitely swollen too" I tell her and she groans.
"You have got to be kidding me, why now of all times when we have to find help" she says sadly and I see her tears threatening to fall. I sit next to her and just holds her.
"We will take a little break here and then continue okay so your ankle can rest." I tell her and she nods. One thing we've learned is not to walk at night so we just climb up a tree and stay there for the whole night. Sadly it's morning so she still has a long way to go.
We've been sitting for about 15 minutes I would say so we should get up and keep going.
"Cmon Dan let's get going okay?" She nods and I help her up and she starts limping so I let her use my shoulder as support.
"Thanks Kath" she tells me and I nod
"No problem infant" I respond back and she gives a small laugh. We haven't used our nicknames for each other in forever. I wonder how the rest of our family is, Mike, Alex, and dad are probably angry and trying to find us while mom is probably upset, Christian is probably in his room the whole time and won't come out or devising a plan to find us. I chuckle at the thought of that, Nick and Joey must be devastated because they always liked to be with us and big Nick must be heartbroken without Christina.
We keep walking and I hear Dani groan in pain.
"Dani you wanna rest?" And she nods so we go to a tree and just sit there.
"I wonder what life would be like if this never happened" she said and j wonder the same exact thing.
  "We would be making music and working on our album" I say which we probably would of been doing. I really wish we could just get home already but once we do, we still have a long journey ahead of us. Many emotional scars will last with us for forever. I just worry some of us won't get over it like Lauren or Lisa because they were having the worst of it but especially Lisa.
  We will definitely have to go to therapy after all this and that's going to be rough but we have to be their to support each other.
"I just wanna see our family and the cimfam" Dani blurts out so suddenly.
"I do too Dan, I do too but we have to get through this if we ever want to see them again okay?" I ask her and she nods in agreement. "Wanna continue walking?" I ask Dani and she nods and I help her up and we continue walking through these woods. I wonder how the rest of our sisters are holding up. Christina is probably silent most of the time, Lisa is, God Lisa is probably broken, I hope he just dosen't beat her too bad. Ames is probably taking care of everyone and I just don't understand how she's so strong and Lauren, well Lauren is probably depressed of some sort.
  "Kath when we get out of this mess what's gonna happen?" She asks so suddenly and I look at her and sigh
"Well it's gonna be a long journey of recovery from crying to anger to even laughter." I answer and she sighs
"Do you think we're gonna have to go to therapy?" She asks softly and I know she's scared for my answer but I have to answer truthfully.
  "To be honest Dan, I think we will but the ones who will have the hardest time will be Lisa and Lauren." I answer and she sighs
"My poor sugar" she whispers and then she continues
  "I wish we never left her behind, she was so hurt I wish we took her"
"So do I Dani but think if we took her do you think she would of even survived out here I mean like we're barley scraping by and we weren't even really hurt but imagine if Lauren was here, j honestly wouldn't think she would of made it so in the end it's better if she's there than here." I answer and she nods, I look up and see it's noon already. Wow wasn't it just morning, I hope we made good progress and as were walking I see something.
I squint my eyes to get a better look and I see that it's grey and flat. Wait is that a road?
"Dani I think I see a road! Come on!" I answer and start rubbing but then I hear
"Kath wait I can't run!" I hear Dani yell from behind me and I turn back and go to her.
"Get on my back" I tell her and she does as told and wow she's really light now and I start running towards the road. As we near closer and closer I see that it really is a road. We got to it and I put Dani down and we hug each other knowing we're almost out of here. Before we get going I walk back to a tree and rip off tons of big branches and bring back to the road and dump them on the side.
"So when we come back we know where it is" I tell Dani and she nods.
"Dani do you know what this means?" I ask her and she gives me a confusing look
"No?" She answered more like a question
"We're one step closer to getting or sister out of that hellhole" and she nods smiling and we walk along the road hoping to reach civilization.

We're so close!

A/N: well guys here it is! An all Kath P.O.V too! Are Dani and Kath close to getting help hmm who knows oh yeah I do :) next chapter will be intense I promise! Update may be later today depending on how my day goes. Hoped y'all liked it!!
