Protagonist's POV:

Yo! My name's Yukari Grace; nationality: 60% Filipino, 40% Japanese; age: 17. I grew up in the Philippines. Still, I kinda find Japan more exciting. What's life in the Philippines? It's okay. There are just a few schools and universities that have clubs. In some schools there, you get sweaty in uniforms despite that the country's in the equatorial region.

By the way, my father's a Japanese, while my mother's Filipino. Do I have siblings? An awesome older brother, a prissy little sister, and a little brother who is a girl-at-heart.

Why am I in Japan? I'm going to spend my college years here. The schools and universities here are super cool. I know how the people here are attached to their culture, but I'll get along fine surely. My uncle taught me how to speak Japanese and how to deal with them. Though, the real reason why I'm here is because I want to see my favorite J-rock band: One Ok Rock. The whole band's super cool! They're all so hot, especially their guitarist, Onizawa Alexander Seimon.

That band's not very famous in the Philippines, I have to admit, though in other parts of Asia, it is. A lot of people back in my country would rather drool over One Direction, Justin Bieber, and some K-pop boybands. Those stuff just aren't my thing. I'm not trying to be discriminative. It's just that I'm not the type who cares about music trends. I'm more of a rocker, and so far, One Ok Rock is the best one in Japan for me.

Author's POV:

Grace has her earphones on, listening to a soundtrack entitled Yume Yume. She carries her luggage, and finally she has arrived in Tora University of Arts. She has already applied for a scholarship there. She's going for music.

She goes for a pictorial to obtain an ID. After that, she receives her key: Room 120. The person who gave her the key says that her roommate is an eccentric genius in animation. This just makes Grace more excited.

She goes to room 101and opens the door. What a surprise! There are One Ok Rock posters on the walls. Some are hand-drawn chibi and anime. "I wonder who this cool roommate is." Grace says with a smile.

"WAFU!" Someone yelps behind her. Grace turns around. "Are you my roommate?" the little girl with twin tails asks.

"Yo! Here's your roommate, Yukari Grace, 17 years old!"

"WAFU? I'm older than you?! Did you accelerate?"

"No. I'm a foreigner. Normally, college freshmen in this country are 19 or 20, right?"

"You know how to speak Japanese? I'm Kanki Momoyo."

Grace starts wondering about her. Her roommate's surname is Kanki. It's somewhat familiar. Yet she doubts. Anyone can have that surname.

Momoyo's going for Graphics Design and Multimedia. She can get along with someone who wants to be a scriptwriter like Grace. Some of those posters were just drawn by Momoyo. Cool. Momoyo and Grace are both otaku.

Grace spots a picture frame. It's Momoyo with Kanki Tomoya, the drummer of One Ok Rock.

"That's Onii-chan," Momoyo says.

"Really?!" Grace shouts out of surprise. Grace isn't wrong. Momoyo really is Kanki Tomoya's little sister. Grace's eyes become sparkly, "He's your older brother?! I'm a big fan of his!"

"So you know One Ok Rock?"

"You bet I do! That band's the best!"

"WAFU! Another one like me! Aren't they cool?! Taka-nii, Ryota-nii, Toru-nii, Alex-nii, and Onii-chan. Of course my favorites are Taka-nii and Onii-chan of course.
