"How about we make a codename for Samantha? Something truly evil," Tash suggests with a smirk.
"Good idea," I smile.
"How about.....devil?" Skyler asks, looking at me.
"Oh yeah, Samantha the devil. Haha!" I reply. The girls smirk as Skyler takes out her phone.
"What are you doing?" I ask Skyler.
"Just saving Samantha's contact name as 'devil'," Skyler announces. Once she is done the girls snigger.
"I hate devil," I say.
"You do?" Sophia asks me.
"Yeah. She's so stupid!"
"Yeah, I know. I hate devil too," Skyler says.

A week and a few days later
I walk past a room to hear their voices. I push the door open and stop when I hear my name.
"Mia is so stupid, she doesn't even know that devil is actually the codename for her!" Skyler says.
"I know right," Tash adds.
"Does that slut actually believe devil's the codename for me?!" Samantha says.
I gasp quietly.
So this was all fake?
I walk away, heartbroken. I thought I'd finally found nice, honourable, trustworthy friends. But I guess not.
