Camila was drifting off to sleep when she heard the door shut. Rubbing her eyes they finally adjusted to the dark surroundings where she found Lauren looking back at her. "Hey where did you go?" she smiled.
"Dinah's" she replied bluntly.
"Is everything ok?" frowning at the girls short reply.
"I just have a headache im gonna go to bed"
"Do you want me to get you anything? I think we have something in th-"
"No I don't need anything" Lauren said quickly making her way into her room.
Completely confused, Camila sat in silence for a good 5 minutes before there was a knock at the door. Dragging herself off the couch she opened it to find her best friend standing there almost looking like she'd seen a ghost. "Dinah? Hey!"
"Uh I just wanted to give this back to you" she faked a smile handing the laptop back into her best friends hands, Looking behind her to see if the green eyed girl was anywhere to be seen.
"Thanks you didn't have to come all the way over you could have just given it to me at breakfast" she smiled back.
"No no I was all done anyway thanks walz bye!" she almost sprinted away from the door.
Why was everyone acting so weird?. Placing it on the small island by the kitchen she thought it be best to at least pretend she was having an early night before she could sneak off to Hailee. Changing into a pair of shorts and a t-shirt she snuggled up to Lauren listening to her peaceful breathing.
"A small nap wouldn't hurt right?" she thought to herself burying her petite figure beneath the covers. She was more than likely going to be kept up later on anyway. Shooting the other girl a quick text the sound of Lauren's phone vibrated on the bed side table, then again once more signalling another text had come through.
Peeking over her girlfriends shoulder she glanced at the messages on the white iphone.
(DJ 22:25) Lauren.... Im so sorry for what you saw tonight. Can you just call me or something in the morning so I know your ok? Please that's all I ask me and Mani are worried over here.
(Mani 22:28) Please reply to me or Dinah when you get this.
Why were they so worried? What Happened? She knew something was up with her since she came home but she thought she was just having a bad day. Rolling back onto her side she grabbed her phone again telling Hailee she wouldn't be over tonight that she wasn't feeling well and was going to bed. The girl would more than likely be pissed but she needed to be here in the morning if she was going to find out what was wrong with Lauren and why Dinah and Normani were sorry for whatever the other girl had witnessed tonight.
Camila made sure to get up a little earlier to make breakfast before Lauren headed off to class. Once she heard the other girl turn on the shower she made her way out to the kitchen preparing some French toast and a cup of coffee. Lauren strolled in drying her hair with a towel not noticing Camila sitting scrolling through her phone "Whats this?" she asked confused "Oh nothing really just thought some breakfast be nice before you go you know how that canteen food can be" she chuckled to herself but soon stopped when she didn't get a reaction from her girlfriend.
"Uh thanks" Lauren said quietly not meeting her eyes. They sat in silence for a bit. The tension noticeable for both girls too bad only one of them knew why. "You got some messages last night" Camila stated, that caught Laurens attention the girl finally locking brown eyes with green "You looked at them?"
"No! no...I mean I only seen who they were from" she lied
Lauren nodded before taking the apple device from her back pocket scanning the screen for a second before standing up and putting her plate in the sink. She didn't want to reply to either of the girls right now, not when she would just put herself in a bad mood before her first class even started. She would see them later and they could talk then.
"Thank you for....this" she faked a smile gesturing towards where the food had been.
"No problem, we're still going to Ally's party later right?" Camila asked leaning against the door.
"Yeah but Dinah's giving me something to wear so I'll probably go over to her dorm when im done and get ready there" she said looking to the ground.
"I'll meet you's there then" she smiled watching Lauren nod then begin to walk down the hall. "Wait!" she called out causing her to stop and turn around.
"What?"
"I love you" she said placing a soft kiss on the green eyed girls lips, but Lauren knew she didn't mean it anymore or to be honest if she ever really did So, she just replied with a simple.
"I know"
