All through the day Castiel was working on his poem for Mr. Winchester's class. He knew this poem had to be good to even bring it to his attention. Maybe just maybe he'd get the message. Finally the bell had rung dismissing the whole school. Castiel walked out of class to his locker to grab the things he needed for tonight and then began walking to his bus.
" Cas Cas Cas" Charlie screamed as she jumped onto of him
" What what what?"
" I handed my assignment to Mr. Winchester and he gave me an A"
" What was it about?"
" Him" she giggled
Castiel laughed " Why?"
" so it wouldn't be so obvious when you do it tomorrow"
" Thanks Charlie" He rolled his eyes
" No problem kid" She said to him
That evening when Castiel got home he noticed a different car in the driveway, not his brothers or his sisters. He shrugged it off and went inside to be greeted by his brother Michael.
" Hey Cas how was school?"
" It was okay normal boring stuff"
" You have any homework?"
" Yes, i have a assignment for Mr. Winchesters class he wants us to do a free write. The only catch is it's due by tomorrow"
" thats cool what are you writing about?"
" green eyes''
" Why?"
" because i love them duhhh"
" you're a nut ya know that, right?"
" Yeah but i'm your nut"
" Very true" Michael said while walking over to the door and putting on his coat
" where you off to?"
" going to pick up your brother, he was staying after to get some extra help with an overdue project"
"Ahh okay imma grab something to eat then head upstairs to finish my poem for my teacher"
" have fun see you in a few"
" bye'
" bye"
Once castiel had finished eating he went upstairs to his room. He turned on some music and began to write once again. This is what he has so far.
those twinkling green eyes,
They speak of a thousand things.
It glows and I drown in its intensity,
I would love to stay there forever.
It evokes myriad memories,
And leaves an imprint on me.
I consider myself lucky enough,
To have experienced its warmth.
