Him & Her (Poem 4)

She felt like screaming.

She felt this pain she thought she could never get rid of.

Her life was based on fatal mistakes she made in the past, and her worried future. She thought it could never get better, nothing in this world could make her feel better about anything.

She wished the world would collapse and every living thing would suffer and die. She hated everything.

 Until she met Him

He was the light in her life.

He was her sunshine in her world of grey.

He turned her darkest moments of despair to joyful moments, the ones you could always think back to and smile. He was her medication to her disease.

He was her everything and she was his everything.

But his story wasn't that bright either.

He felt like hiding.

He felt all of this anxiety held up closed inside of him.

His life was based on the things they'd do and say to him.

He thought they would never stop, they would always be causing him mental breakdowns and panic attacks, and nothing in the world could make him feel better.

He wished he could just hide in a hole and die.

Until he met her.

She was the light in his life

She was his voice in his world of terror.

She turned his most helpless moments into sentimental moments, the ones you can look back on a rainy day and think "I'm so lucky I have her".

She was his remedy to his anxiety.

She was his everything and he was her everything.
