The Outlaw and his Queen [WIP]

Chapter 4 -Tox

Jell blew out the flaming twig on his frosted muffin, one of the few pastries one could get in the Outlands.

Rose could probably bake Jell something better, Tox thought, but then he quickly pushed away the thought before his mind clouded with thoughts of Rose.

They had been celebrating since 7:00 am, now it was noon. Everyone was somewhat tired, so they all said goodbye and went to their lodges. Jell and Tox walked together, since they were both in the Coral Reef lodge and were across the hall from each other.

"Jell," Tox asked, "have you ever loved someone, but then you were taken away from them?"

Jell was silent. "Ya actually. I loved a guy named Phish, but he didn't love me back. When I confessed to him, h told the King and I was exiled for loving the opposite gender. Why do you ask?"

Tox sighed, "I loved a girl too, and I lost her when I was exiled."

"What'd you do," Jell asked, "to get exiled?"

"I interfered with the King's nonexistent relationship."

"What?" Jell said, confused. "Please explain."

So that's what Tox did. He explained everything. From when he was an orphan, to being with Rose, everything up until the Queenstrial.

"Wow," Jell finally said. "So your ex is the Queen?"

Tox nodded. By now, the two men were practically in their lodge rooms.

"See ya," Jell said. Tox nodded in response. They both sat down in front of their windows. Jell could see the gate at the entrance to the Outlands and all the roads while Tox could see all the mountains and rivers beyond the Outlands borders.

"Oh gees," Jell said. Tox got up to see what Jell was talking about. Tox followed Jell's gaze to the front gate and saw a carriage, a royal carriage.

"Stupid king," Tox said, kicking nothing. "If you need me I'll be in my room."

"But Tox," Jell said, "it's the Queen's carriage."

In this chapter, it says Jell was exiled for being gay. 

I have nothing against gays!
