Being who my mother was, she never allowed anyone to walk over her. My grandmother tried to "cool down the bull" because to her it was un- lady like.

"Ms. Hunter your late, I can not allow you to come in my class." My mom ran into the door huffing and puffing widely.
"But Mrs. Handler! Please! I dropped all my things- and I got tripped up- and oh please it won't happen again!" One thing my mom was not, was a failure.

"I'll let you slide due to your usual promptness to my class, however next time it's detention young lady!" My mother swallowed her angry pride and sat down in the back of the class. She quickly took down the already written notes and burrows herself in her book.

"Man I just saw a fly honey in whitehaven the othah day! Me and my crew called her, smoking Samantha, Haha. She had a booty that made Marvin Gaye spring up with "Let's get it on"!"
"You just jiving she probably made Stevie wonder blind!"
My father and his group of friends talked during the passing period until a small yet feisty Belinda walked up towards them pointing a very harsh finger at Adrian.
"You listen to my Jack! You got me yelled at by my teacher cause you made me late! What do you call yourself doing you hoodlum! I had to write the notes so fast my arm almost fell clean off!"
"Well think about this way if your arm fell of it'd take attention away from your pencil body. Do you hear me?" The boys irrupted into latter as Belinda stood there even more heated.

"You jerk!" She stormed off and walked to the direction of the stairs. Adrian quickly followed behind. "Baby, I'm sorry! Now maybe I went a bit far and I'm sorry I made you late for class okay?"
"Okay? Okay?? Not okay? Just stay away from me Adrian!" With that my mother way gone.

"Hey so you know my name sweet thang!"
