"Pep! Is that you?"

Napalingon ako bigla.

"Oh my God! Pepper ikaw nga!"

Okay, I am beginning to wonder who this person is...

Here I am sitting down far from the party dahil lagi naman akong naa-out of place sa mga ganitong okasyon and yet here comes someone who assumes na kilala niya ako but she doesn't look familiar.

"Pep? Don't tell me you forgot me na?"

Yes, I do.

"Ahm, I'm sorry... Memo gap?", I replied with a smile.

"You never change! Girl, it's me! Rebekah!"

Rebekah?

Nahalata niya siguro na hindi ko pa rin siya makikala so she went near me.

"Hay ewan ha! Fine, I went through some cosmetic surgeries pero konti lang naman in fairness. Anyway, Rebekah Lim? Classmate slash best buddy mo nung elementary? Lumipat ka lang kasi ng school eh kaya we lost contact, grabe nakakatampo ka naman bessy!"

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko automatically and all the memories that I thought I already moved on from came rushing back. Ito ang pinakarason kung bakit even her, a dear best friend of mine before, eh kinalimutan ko.

Bekah knows everything that happened before and I know that she understands kung bakit hindi ako makapag-respond agad.
