Sabrina's point if veiw;
I couldn't stop the tears trailing down my face as strong arms wrapped around me. "I've waited for this moment for a long time," I managed to say, still in shock.
I was hugging Luke Hemmings, from 5 Seconds of Summer. Three other pairs of arms wrapped around me, knowing it was none other than Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin and Michael Clifford. I tried not to freak out in front of them, scared I would mess up. I pried myself away and smiled at them, drying my embarrassing tears that seemed to never stop falling. I grabbed a piece of paper from the pocket of my hoodie and handed it to them. "Read it when you have the chance," I stared up at them.
They smiled in return and Michael inbraced me into a hug, I smiled and stopped myself from excitedly giggling. "Thanks for coming," Ashton said, and handed me four signed post cards that they were giving out on their SLFL tour. "I'll always be a supportive fan," I replied with the biggest grin plastered on my face, trying to fight off my inner screams of 'oh my gosh, luke hugged me, they talked to me, omg! I actually met them!'
I looked at them once more, hoping this exact memory would be tattooed into my brain, Calum and Ashton each embraced me in an individual hug. During my hug with Ashton, he told me to never lose hope, and he's proud to have loving and supporting fans like me. A light blush creeped up on my cheeks after I turned away, I couldn't stop smiling and crying with joy. I just met four of the greatest people in the universe.Luke's point of veiw:
I tucked the paper into my pocket, swearing I'd read it once we headed back to our hotel room. As it got later, everyone cleared out and we headed back to our hotel room. Once we shoved through the door of our room and fell tiredly on the couch, I pulled out the paper.
"Guys, come read this," I said, getting the rest of my band members' attention.
The note read;
'Dear 5sos, I just wanted to say thank you for everything you have helped me through, good or bad times, you help me and I feel like I can do anything. You taught me that it's okay to be a reject and to be a little bit broken. You guys are incredible, your music is relatable, the lyrics inspire me, they encourage me and give me so much hope and happiness. You've saved me so many times.. When I gave up hope, one song later by you guys and I'm over flowing with courage. I haven't been a fan for very long but I support you four no matter what happens. I love you, Ashton, Calum, Luke and Michael. Remember that you can do anything. I know you can. You taught me that too. xoxo - Sabrina.'
I smiled at the paper after reading it out loud, I swear I saw Michael tear up a little bit at one point.
"She's such a young fan.. I'm glad we've helped her through so much, I can feel her support through that note.." Ashton said, his heart warmed.
"Michael are you crying?" I heard Calum ask.
"N-no!" Michael said, wiping an obvious tear away.
I chuckled at the two bickering over Michael crying. 'She's so young.. Without us, who knows where she would be now?' I thought.
"We should put it somewhere safe, so we can look back on it one day and remember how much our fans care about us," Ashton said, interrupting my thoughts.
"Good idea," said Calum before walking into his shared bedroom with Ashton.
He brought back a black notebook, or as we and the fans call it, the book of secrets. Calum took the note from me and taped it to the first page of the book.
"Now we can carry it with us everywhere we go, as some possible inspiration," Calum smiled.
I smiled at the thought and then grabbed three pieces of paper and started to write down a copy of the note, so all four of us had it, in times of need. Usually we didn't treasure a note like this one, but we were all going through rough and stressful times so all of us were really grateful for this note.
