Popular Clichés
I walked out of my last class which luckily I was able to find on my own. After the mornings events of me getting lost and meeting the stalker, I was finally able to get to my first class. After that it was a pretty easy day considering I spent the morning walking around the school looking at room numbers, I was able to find the other classes easily. Somehow I didn't see 'stalker boy' after the mornings events and the first class we had together. That is until I walked out of the classroom.
"You know I realized we never exchanged names," he said appearing next to me.
"Hmm, what's the point in that when I can just call you Stalker?" I respond in a teasingly voice.
"Ouch, that actually hurt my heart a little bit short stuff." He said looking down at me and patting my head as if I were a child.
"I'm not short so don't call me that. My names Aria." I say giving in to my weakness of being told I'm short. I send him a sharp glare as he looks down at me, content with the fact he's won my name.
"Hmm... Aria. Has a nice ring to it." He says looking at me and smirking. "I'm Tyler, but people in my close circles call me Ty." He says as we step outside the school.
"Nice to meet you Ty. I'll see you tomorrow. Try not to ditch classes ok?" I say as I walk towards my car only to be grabbed by my wrist.
"The funs not over yet sunshine! Oh, and I wasn't ditching classes! I was being social! Speaking of being social, I
overheard some people talking about an only seniors allowed party. We are seniors. Aka within our last year of high school! Also it's our first day here! Therefore I talked to the host and got us both on the guest list! We're going to party tonight and mingle and start to have social lives!" He says. Truthfully I was enjoying his moment. He looked like a 5 year old explaining a birthday party he got invited to. It was quite adorable.
"How did you get me on the list? You just learned my name. Also, what if I don't want to be social?" I ask watching his happy smiling face turns into a face deep into thought. It doesn't last long though and he brightens up again with an answer.
"Well you see- I kinda uhh- got myself of the list and got the hosts cell number. I'll text him your name now though don't worry," he responds taking out his phone. "Oh, and you have to be social. Your new. If you don't get a reputation now you'll never be remembered." He says thoughtfully.
"I suppose it could be fun. But I'll only go on one condition!" I say smirking at my own thoughts.
"Anything!" He responds looking like he's about to jump out of his skin.
"There must be no horny teenagers, alcohol, vomiting, stripping, sex, nudity, and under no circumstances will there be drugs." I say watching his face get more worried and upset each time I state a new rule.
"But Aria it'll be no fun without you..." He says doing a puppy dog face. I take this moment to look at his features. He has beautiful green eyes which seem to glow off the sunlight. With his full lips and fitting nose complimenting the face all together. Once you bring in the flawless body structure and amazing black hair he's almost like a demon in a gods body. Not that I'm religious or anything...
"Ok fine, I'll go. But you can't leave my side. At all! Got it? I decently trust you with my life." I say reluctantly. It's not that I hate party's. But I don't particularly like them. The fact I was going to one on my first day with someone I just met was pretty unbelievable for me.
Maybe I'll make the most out of my last year being a student after all. I think to myself.
"Helloooooo? Earth to Aria!" I'm suddenly taken out of my thoughts by Tyler. He's holding out his phone as a gesture for me to give him my number. As I do so a few boys walk behind him and slap him on the back saying "see you at the party dude!" I was surprised by how many people he already knew. I handed his phone back to him and say my quick goodbyes and walk to my car.
I can tell he's going to be popular. Unlike me he can make it in that world. He'll leave me behind soon enough so I'll have fun with this while I can. Though I can't help but be jealous. As I get into my car I think to myself, I guess the stereotype of beautiful people being popular isn't just a cliché after all...............................................................
Hi! I hope you enjoyed the 2nd chapter! It's pretty short but don't worry I'll work on making these chapters longer.
