Jay's POV

After arriving to the dance, we stood in line waiting to get our personal mask to define ourselves for the night.

I stepped up, glancing at all the organized masks sitting in front of me.

"That one." I pointed, it only covered from the nose and up. The design was simple yet elegant.
The woman handed it to me, as I tied it around my head, I straighten out my suit. As Finn was busy flirting with girls in line.

Walking up to the front door, two girls waited.

"Bonjour... Welcome to the Masked ball..." They whispered in my ears as they pushed the door open.

I stopped at the bottom of the curvy stairs leading to the dance floor. Men and women were dressed in all different kinds of masks, some were frightful...others very original I was pleased on how this turned out.

A waiter passed me with a few glasses of Champaign. Swiftly grabbing one I did a 360 making my way to the rail that made it easier to observe the marble dance floor.

Alex's POV

Nick walked me to the line of masks as he already had his own. He walked into the building leaving me alone.

As it was my turn to choose my identity for the night, I chose a mask that had a black design swirled around the eyes. Tying it around my bun, the women nodded to me opening the doors for me to enter.

I watched as the people around me were filled with happiness, knowing that they wouldn't have to reveal who they were to one another. I myself was happy about that.

I stood at the top of the stairs, beginning to take a step down when a young man wrapped his arm around mine, leading me down the stairs.

Jay's POV

After finishing my Champaign I set it down on a tray another waiter came by with. He was as well, wearing a mask.

I looked up noticing a girl in a black an white dress... Though I couldn't see her face I knew she was beautiful...

I clenched my jaw, straightened my suit. And walked over to the girl, escorting her down the curvy, detailed marbled stairs.

The Orchestra that was playing, filled the room with soft yet full music. It seemed as if no one playing could ever make a mistake.

"May I have this dance?" I asked, my voice confident as I took the girls hand in mine.

She nodded, her eyes staring into mine.

I rested my hand on her lower waist, and the other up locked with hers.

Then we began to dance.

My heart was pounding and I kept counting my foot steps just to make sure I did not mess up and step on her.

But she wasn't. Because her foot slammed on top of mine.

I winced, trying to keep my self calm.

Alex's POV

The young man escorted me to the dance floor. He seemed very charming... I could see his crystal blue eyes through the mask...

Jesus he already seems gorgeous.

I let him lead, of course. But I couldn't focus on anything but his eyes. They looked so familiar...

Then I stepped on his foot.

Shit.

I could see it gave him some pain, but it wasn't even that bad.

"Baby." I muttered.

"Rude of you princess..." He replied, with a smirk.

Then it clicked for the both of us.
