A Big Surprise

It was a big day for one certain mage in the guild, and that person was very nervous about asking his girlfriend of 3 years was Gray Fullbuster. He went to ask the girl that not only he loved from when they were kids, and his best friend but his girlfriend to marry him. 

It was Gray and Sapphire's Anniversary, so Gray thought this was the perfect chance to ask her. The whole guild knew about Gray asking Sapphire to marry him, so they were trying to keep Sapphire busy while Gray and the other boys help him get everything ready for the big surprise. 

Gray had already asked Natsu premission to marry his sister, and he said yes to which Gray was glad about. At first Natsu didn't like the fact that his sister was dating that Ice Princess but after seeing how happy they were together and everything they had been through, he was happy that Gray was gonna ask her to marry him. 

The girls were keeping Sapphire busy while the guys were getting everything ready, Sapphire knew that Gray had a surprise planned but didn't know what. Lucy turned to Sapphire "So you looking forward to this surprise Gray has planned?" She asked her with a smile, "Yes I am but I'm also nervoustoo" she said llooking at Lucy. 

The only thing Gray told her about tonight was to wear something nice, so the girls were helping her get ready for her surprise. When they were done, Sapphire couldn't believe how pretty she looked "You look beautiful Saf!" Lucy said in excitement, "Gray is gonna be in amazement over you, our work has paid off!" Erza and Cana both said proud of their work. 

Sapphire hugged her friends and thanked them for helping her get ready for her surprise with Gray. They all went to the guild because that's where Gray asked Sapphire to meet him, when they arrived the guild looked completely different, it had banners and streamers everything the girls loved it. 

They went inside, there was Gray standing in a suit near a table. Sapphire walked up towards Gray who surprisely had his suit still on, he thought she looked beautiful as always "You look beautiful Saf"he said taking her hand in his, she blushed and thanked him. They went and sat at gthe table in the guild, it was pretty quiet it was only the boy's and girls there, the rest of the guild were at their homes. 

They enjoyed a nice dinner then Sapphire asked Gray what this big surprise was "So Gray, what is this big surprise then?" She said. Gray got down on one knee and took out a small black box, inside it was  a Ice ring. Sapphire put a hand to her mouth in shock " Saf, you know how much I love you and we've been through a lot together, you've stood by me through a lot of stuff and I love you more than anything in the world, will you make me the happiest guy in the world and marry me?" He asked her with a smile holding the ring in his hand. 

Sapphire stood there in shock with tears in her eyes, she looked at everyone in the guild smiling at her. Natsu looked at her with his usual goofy grin, she looked at Gray "Yes! A million times yes!" She hugged him and he placed the ring on her finger then spun her around, Gray pulled her into a passionate kiss and everyone cheered "I love you Sapphire" Gray said looking into her beautiful green eyes "I love you too Gray, thank you for the best surprise ever!" She kissed him again. 

Everyone came over and congratulated the new engaged couple even the first master, Natsu pulled his sister into a hug "Congrates Saf! I'm happy for you and snowflake! Now let's get this party started!" Everyone that night had a great night.
