Finding Zeus

Rusty sat the large and half destroyed boxes on the table. He scratched his beard and looked around. "well, i'm not used to kids, so just make yourself at home" he explained
he awkwardly shuffled around the room trying to think of something to say
kass noticed the scilence and took the first chance she got to break it. Looking at rustys arm she asked "what happend there?" she sobbed trying to ignore the pain inside her
"Oh this ol' thing" he raised his robotic arm in the air.
"I was working on a robot when my arm got sawed of by a buzz saw" he paused
"it was probably a bad idea to work while drunk"
he smiled and sruffed his hair with his robo arm, kass giggled
"what robot were you working on" kass asked, being ten year old she had alot of curiosity about her newfound uncle, and she questioned why she had never met, or even heard, of him.

"I have a job building, and fixing, eletronics. From toasters to Spy flies, ive fixed them all". Kass fixed herself in a large soft recliner, her and rusty went back and forth about robots and life.

Before she knew it, it was 1am. Once rusty noticed the time he gave her a blanket and told her that she could sleep in that chair until she got herself a real room. She laid down and started to sleep to ignore her thoughts.

That next morning Kass woke up and could still hear rusty in his room snoring oddly loud.
He sounds like a lion 
she thought to herself remembering the time her family took her to the zoo
They're really gone
She shook her head trying to clear her mind. She got out of the recliner and opened the large boxes. Inside one, large metal pieces with a booklet with the words "ZEUS 3000 The God of the future" she looked around then looked in the next box, mostly papers and blueprints, Kass dug and pulled out a large photo book, inside pictures of her and her parents "I'm sorry kid" she heard rusty behind her startling her and almost dropping the book. Rusty sat next to her on the floor next to the boxes. " hey I remember that guy" rusty pointed in the book at a picture of two little boys and a Great Dane, the large dog towering above their head with their arms wrapped around its neck "his name was Zeus, he was your fathers best friend, that dog was with him everywhere he went" Kass wiped the tears from her eyes and quietly said "what happened to him" "well" rusty paused as if thinking he should say it "one day your father went for a walk at night, he was jumped by four men when he called for Zeus, once the dog god there it started to attack the men and they shot him and beat up your father"
    Kass frowned as she put her hand over the Picture of the dog as she started to tear up again. Rusty rapped his arms around the the little girl and started to whisper messages of hope.
     While doing this he saw the box of parts and let her go and looked inside, after a good 15 minutes of studying the inside of the box and he booklet he looked at Kass "Do you know what this is?!" he smiled yelling excitedly "this" he held up the book and a piece of the metal "is a robot dog , you're father was building a robot dog"
