Can you remember all those summer nights?
When we used to laugh and dream about the future while looking up at the heavens?
The love we had was purer then a diamond. It shown brighter then the light on the darkness. Your held me so close and tight, I felt safe.
Why did you let go?
I'm growing cold without you. My heart stopped beating and fighting to be free.
Is this the price I have to pay for loving you?
I have to die to live again. Why did you end it when it was so perfect?
Do you remember all those winter nights we spent watching movies by the fire? Or all those times we got lost in each other? I have yet to forget. I get lost in the memories of what we once were.
I can wish on a star to get that back but then I look back and see how far I have came from over a year to now. I'm glad that you left even when I want to be in your arms all those sleepless nights.
Without those memories of us, I would be a shell of a person like a zombie feeding off of the love of others.
Oh how I long for that type of love we had way back when.
